I have a Harley and Hondas and I still prefer these small Hondas. As long as you are having fun who care what others think. Glad to see you enjoying the bike.

Thanks for your comment - This bike, for me, it a bit of an ornament - but I had exactly the same when I was 16 years old but the one I have now is in better condition !

Thanks for your message Mike - I had the identical bike in 1969 but that one was not as lovingly looked after as this one. Are you in the UK?

The video was beautiful and extremely well done. I owned a 1962 Honda C110 in blue. I've regretted selling it, especially when I see others like yours. I'm 6'2" and looked like a bear on a circus bike riding it. I don't care how I looked on it, it was a joy to ride. Its not about the speed, its about appreciating the journey!

Very nice! Love your bike! It's in mint condition, wauw! Went to England several times and loved it, beautiful scenery. You have a bit of valve noise, but it might be the camera picking it up very loud.

Hi there. I had one of these bikes in 1966. sold it nearly 6 years later with 23300miles on the clock. I was in South Africa at the time and out there 50cc bikes were known as "buzz bikes" That was a reference to the sound of the engines that were mostly 2 strokes (did not apply to the Honda with a 4 stroke engine). Most c110s were blue out there but mine like yours was the other choice red. Used to cruise at 35mph and downhill laying flat on the tank could exceed 50mph but rarely did that as the poor engine sounded as if it was tearing its heart out.

Thanks for your comment - I had one exactly the same when I was 16 and just wanted to get another one - really now, its an ornament!

@@RobLittleuk Hi again. I got my bike at 16 as well. Cost my dad nearly a months wages but still to this day the best present I've ever had. A year later the new 50cc Honda came out. 6bhp, 5 gears and ohc. I still preferred the looks of my bike and I was glad I didn't have to buy the new model.

That was my first bike, a white one. The second was a CL77 Scrambler.

Hey rob I was wondering when you twist the throttle does it return or do you have to return it

Hi - yes the throttle does return....its sprung to do that 😊

@@RobLittleuk because mine doesn’t and every one else’s doesn’t so should I buy a new spring or stretch it

Hi Rob, thanks for the video, just wondering are you using the 55cc barrel or still running 50 cc's? I use the 65cc pistons in all mine. Thanks again :)
@RobLittleuk3 жыл бұрын
David thanks for the question and for subscribing. It is the 50cc barrel although the engine has been rebuilt (not by me) so will have oversize rings I guess? This bike, for me, it a bit of an ornament - but I had exactly the same when I was 16 years old but the one I have now is in better condition !
