Not an easy topic to discuss, even more so when you have a biological connection the region. I have a dear friend who currently resides in Germany. He was born in Russia, but his mother was Finnish-Russian; his father was Hungarian-Ukrainian. He has a daughter in Georgia and hasn't heard from her in some time. I know that it is eating him up and he's been so upset. It's a sad state of affairs for so many people. It must be hurting for both of you, but for Eva ... I can see the sadness. You have resided there and have a true connection to the people back there. I know that there are Russians against the war, but obviously they must be extra careful about any dissent. I started subscribing to you, not only because I like your content, but you are also good, empathetic people. I wish this nightmare would end. For Ukraine, of course, but also for Russia. I watch every day how things and people in my country change, slowly, from year to year, that's why I don't believe in the fate of nations, I don't believe that things are unchanged and forever.
