I always advise people to cover up the built in cameras on laptops with a piece of cardboard and some pvc / electrical tape, which I also do myself when having to repair or use a laptop

Yep guys, my OWN school district did this. It's scary. I've been told this story countless times as I'm a resident of the district this incident took place. It kind of shook me, and that's how I got my fear of spying and espionage.
