It's good sometimes if someones busy and multitasking. Data mining is more sophisticated than just social media accounts. When you physically cover mics with tape how can it listen to your conversation, lol. There is so much other data they collect from your phone, data collected from phone of others in your demographic, data collected from your friends, data collected from social media of other people that you know, your location, data collected from others in your location, things others in your location lookup, things you looked up in your phone and computer that it seems as though they listened to your conversation.

1984 written in 1948 predicted this world with chilling accuracy. Back then the commercial black and white TV had only been on the market about 7 years on the United States, most people still just had the radio in home and I think there were only like 2 stations and things were not aired at all times. But in the book, there are "Telescreens" in every apartment, in the subways, pubs/bars, airports..... everywhere. These telescreens had an ability that the black/white television screens of 1948 did not have... the ability to listen to and watch YOU.

Well i can confirm you that your smartphone listens to you constantly. I've experienced it so many times. It is not even that difficult to find out. like keep your smartphone on a table randomly and say "what car should i buy" say "good car to buy" say "cars" or say some random car names or car buying related words and you will see car advertisement later in your phone. Remember you said those words even when you were not doing anything on your phone that time. randomly say anything specific and you will see advertisement related to your words. wherever you go it records your location even if your location or gps is off in your device. not only that it will even ask reviews about your visited location. But in you Google location history you will not find it. It is secretly saved somewhere and only they can use it.

@@tantejunko your location can be determined not just by GPS, but also using the Wifi or Bluetooth antennas, and don't forget your phone always uses GSM.
