Solomonster is such a breath of fresh air after listening to that troll Don Tony. I appreciate wrestling commentary that is thoughtful rather than hateful. Don Tony's podcasts are non-stop, hateful gossip, and he shouldn't be allowed on the Internet.

I just watched their debute episode on Destination America here on KZbin. It felt like I was an episode of WCW Thunder 2000.

It’s hilarious looking back at how Dixie felt Spike didn’t support them enough when you consider that they basically only existed because of Spike. Spike paid them a rights fees that basically represented their entire revenue since they didn’t regularly tour their brand. Spike paid for the contracts for expensive talents. Spike helped finance rebranding and international tours. Spike bent over backwards to support TNA and Dixie’s entitlement that they still owed her more ended their relationship and ended TNA as we once knew it to be.

In a way you can argue that TNA has already been given too many second chances.

I enjoy ROH too. they come on a local channel here at 10:30 on Saturday night. They have great talent but the talent needs to learn to sell better and slow it down just a tad. but yeah i like ROH more then TNA, its more classic old school pro wrestling then TNA.

I've seen Destination America, on Free Preview on Dish Network, that's right ,Bad news TNA ,in order to get it, you got 2 pay extra for it. Fuck that i'll pass on that. I think TNA may come out of this smelling less shitty. some smarks didn't understand that some of TNA'S head scratching decisions, where actually forced on them ,by Fucking Spike TV. don't forget SPIKE TV fucked PAUL HEYMAN with the ECW deal they had, remember Spike was TNN . They signed WWE ,and WWE quickly had enough and returned to USA . that tells me all I need to know about SPIKE TV. ALSO let me throw down a conspiracy theory -I think Jeff Jarrett had something to do with Spike Tv cancelling IMPACT. I think it wouldn't at all shock me to see GFW on SPIKE TV

I hope TNA doesn't die. To me; 2 companies are better than 1 monopoly as there are a lot of wrestlers I enjoy who are with TNA but would never get a shot in the WWE. I'm just an average wrestling fan for 30+ years who'd rather watch a bad match than alot of the other crap that passes for entertainment these days.

I found the El Ray network the other day just flipping thru my guide. They had a bunch of kung fu flicks on there at the time. May be a pretty good channel.

El Ray, has kung fu movies, a bunch of other interesting retro movies and new tv shows i probably only seen on el ray, i'm rather fond of El Ry simply because i grew up on kung fu flicks. Its a good network, and Lucha Underground is a good product.

I tried looking up some ratings for shows on destination America, it took me awhile but found out that their highest rated show ( some ghost hunting shoe) and gets on average a 0.1 . That's it , one hundred thousand viewers if a network who has availability in millions of homes in America and your highest rated show can't even garner five hundred thousand viewers, how do think a wrestling show will fare? Bare in mind a few things 1- many people who have destination America may not like wrestling and probably won't tune in period 2, Canada ( for the time being) is no longer able to watch impact and their viewer numbers for the show on spike was an easy. Three hundred thousand of impacts combined rating of the average million. 3-impacts marketing. If it stays the current course it stands no chance 4- what's it's timeslot? Pretty much every night has its own ratings champ especially on the big 4 ( abc cbs nbc fox)

TNA stays number 2. Outside the wrestling world SOME people have heard of Impact or TNA. Nobody knows ROH. I think ROH has a better in ring product at times, but TNA is obviously has better quality production. They've had guys like Hardy, Sting, Foley, Nash, Flair, Angle, Steiner, etc. Just by default they have more prestige and success. I agree with this step back though, ROH or even NJPW now on AXS can make a run at them.

TNA is the top wrestling company on broadcast TV. WWE would back me up on that statement. Do an interview with someone from WWE's PR department, and they will not dispute that. They will say they are a global media entertainment company. WWE is an orphan initialism. They call their employees superstars and divas. They don't call them wrestlers. I'm not bashing WWE at all by making these statements. It is a bigger, more successful, more popular and more profitable company than TNA. It's just not a wrestling company. TNA is a wrestling company.

i have ROH tv. i hate the way they present it. it's not really a show. it's a bunch of matches cut together with promos and commercials for ppv's. Kind of like Smackdown is now

I live in Canada, so I’m not going to get to keep watching TNA. I don’t like modern WWE, and ROH was unwatchable the last several times I tried-I couldn’t hear what people were saying and the angles and gimmicks were weak and generic. So that leaves local promotions (thank goodness for All Star Wrestling) and old videos.
