my opinion on 'the last summer'
rating: 10/10 big fat chef's kiss
thoughts: i'm the worst person to ask for a movie review because I swear I've loved every movie I've ever watched LOL. I should let you know that I'm an absolute sucker for coming of age, romantic, cheesy, rom coms etc. I LIVEE for movies of that nature, I just love the feeling of watching people be in love and experience connections and what not hehe I love all that mushy stuff. this movie had 'feel-good' in the description which is something that aligns with my mushy romantic movie agenda. Maia Mitchell was an absolute icon in this movie as always but what I loved about this was: it's basically about 3 (maybe 4 idk I have bad memory) different teens' lives in their last summer before they go to college and theres lots of love, scandals, and finding yourself going on. If you want to be entertained, feel some nostalgia and be lowkey embarrassed by how much you're giggling at a screen by yourself in your room then I definitely recommend. feel-good movies 4 the win
