I just did two wheels and love this product. I can tell it has a layer of protection. I will find out long term later, but so far I like the ease of use, the quality of the product and applicators. Most importantly all the videos and guidance provided. I’m taking a lunch break and will finish the two front wheels. With the leftover I will do my brake calipers. Great stuff.

I just did it on my mirror polished bare aluminum rim wells. Directly after the application it was slightly visible. After wiping the excess off as instructed, there is no visible layer to me. I did wipe very gently, but perhaps I still wiped too hard or too early? Or is it normal to be completely invisible? Also, can I just add a second layer the next day for longer protection? Thanks !

The idea is for it to be invisible! It shouldn't alter the looks of your wheels. If anything it adds some gloss but that wont be too noticeable on polished aluminum. A second layer would be unnecessary but you can apply another layer if you would like to.

Is this just an upgraded version of the Geyon non-evo Q2 Rim Ceramic Coating? Just would like to know what’s the difference between the two

Yep its an upgrade. Easier to use and more durability are the two main improvements!

does it work on matte wheels? What’s better with this product then original rim?

You can use it on matte wheels. It will only add a slight sheen. This new version is easier to apply and we have increased the duration by 1.5X

I’m curious for this work on satin or matte colored wheels. I have some method wheels for my GX 470 that I just got that kind of sat in Black. Is this going to add a shine to them?

You can use this one matte wheels. Its going to add some depth to the color but it won't add much gloss if any.

My Challenger has factory chrome wheels. Is this product safe for my wheels.

Its safe for all types of wheel finishes! Just take your time during the application and double check for high spots

Is it possible to clean the wipes/applicator block? If so what should we do?

I would not reuse the applicator blocks! They will harden and damage surfaces that you use them on after

Can I apply this to a freshly painted wheel ? (paint+clear coat) ( 4-5 day old) How long before applying the second coat 1-2 hours is enough ? Thanks

We recommend waiting at least 30 days before you apply coating on fresh paint. Ideally you wait 60-90 days to be sure! You should apply the second layer within an hour after the first.

1. The Evo part is just the new foam block? 2. If you have your wheel repainted (with a 2 component epoxy top coat), do you need to wait before applying the Q² Rim? 3. Once applied, can you wash the applicator and buffing towels?

1. The new EVO formula is easier to apply and adds up to 6 months more longevity over the previous one. 2. Generally a good rule of thumb is to wait 90 days for the paint to fully cure and off-gas before applying a ceramic coating over it 3. We don't recommend reusing and of the towels or the applicator. Because there is coating in them it will harden and then scratch whatever its used on in the future!
