I bought mine after I watched your vids. I have 1700 miles after 5 months. It`s so good for what I do and I take nice 40 mile rides. Insurance is cheap and gas mileage is crazy! I`m 68 so I`m not a Hayabusa candidate.

"Look at this moss, or I guess fungus?" -- You're both right! Lichen is some crazy symbiotic stuff! Sign of good clean air in the area. I literally *just* discovered this bridge like 2 weeks ago and was there again like 5 days ago! Post-apocalypse vibes from the leaves encroaching on the road and the graffiti there is lots of fun! It's a popular trail for dog walkers and such since it connects two residential areas. They moved the far-end (away from your entrance) jersey barriers between my two visits. Have to wonder why. Thank you for satisfying that side path curiosity that I could never bring myself to do lmfao. Maybe now I will on a drier day. Braver than I am on the bridge with the kickstand. "Is that poop??" -- Remember there's a horse facility right by where you entered. I *hope* they take the horses out there! I'd love to see more somd stuff. Lots of good back roads down here! Roots and Tides scenic route has lots of good twisties and places to check out the water from. Goes right by my town of North Beach! Patuxent side of Calvert is great too!

I wish I could find a good deal on a used xr150 or similar. I can’t justify even to myself, buying one new. Mostly because I recently (almost 2 months) bought a new 2023 Honda rebel 500 non-abs. I enjoy getting back into riding (after not riding for 15 years). I’m around 5’2”, so I prefer lower seat heights and lower weight bikes. I’ve wanted something smaller and lighter to practice more on. Of course, a week after getting my rebel I dropped it in a parking lot. Luckily, I had engine guards installed already & had already put shorter aftermarket levers on. However, I didn’t have an exhaust slider yet so muffler got a little scuffed. The engine guard on right side needed a little sanding & coating of black matte paint. Easy & cheap enough. Still, it takes time that I’d rather use for riding or something else. It’d be nice to have a ‘little’ dual sport for practice and play without worrying much about cosmetic or other damages. I mean generally many Honda bikes are at lower price points than say Indians, Triumphs, BMWs, etc. However, that doesn’t mean it’s “cheap” and it definitely doesn’t mean I have

You need to swap the 150 for a CRF230L. Same bike, bigger engine, 6 speed and a little lighter. Why Honda killed the CRF230L and replaced it with the XR150 is a mystery to me. Btw I have 2 CRF230Ls 😊
