I was sceptical about this. I've done meditation before and know that focusing on the breath can help you relax. But I tried it anyway for a few times and I think I actually feel different. The feelings of despair have eased. I'm impressed.

I've been doing the "voo" sound often in the car as I find driving stressful. It has definitely helped me calm down. I hope I'm doing it right... In the morning I chant om & Voo. Also bilateral tapping (butterfly taps) on the chest has been helpful. One has to release the self conscious feeling and just give it a go. I wish I had been taught these techniques in early primary school.

I pray magical blessings in the lives of myself and my true love (that I am yet to meet). may him and I, both experience magical transformation and new levels of enlightenment and bliss... and may that lead us to each other, very-very soon! and may you, as well, beloved reader, be blessed, too...

I was also reminded of the same. However, the center of the physical sensation (at least to me) is different, which may create different mental/emotional effects. "Om" vibrations are mostly in the head. "Voo" is mostly in the diaphragm

To enhance this even more, do it to the rhythm of a fibonacci sequence - for example make the in breath 5 counts, then the out breath 8. This can stay simple (3 -5) or more complex - up to 8-13 and beyond, as long as the outbreath is fully released as he says. 🙂
@Clodhopping
@Clodhopping 2 жыл бұрын
Yep - that's basic pranayama. A longer out breath reduces the oxygen levels to reduce heart rate and blood pressure. We tend to over breathe and suck in too much oxygen. 4 in, 8 out is a good ratio. 👍

Nice. This re-sets the parasympathetic nervous system and lowers blood pressure, All this co-ordinates the heart and nervous system - to be "Heart/mind". Definitely a beneficial kind of pranayama to rest more in 'being' than in some grasping and rejecting mindset that has a goal that the mind will never attain. Thanks Peter. Metta.

WOW it seemed like a five minutes exhale ! A gentle down breath .. and a little bit a heaven moves into my core.

What all of these have in common is a) interrupting the pattern of thinking, feeling, speaking, doing and being b) replacing them with a clear, non-threatening new pattern of thinking, feeling, speaking, doing and being to allow the body and heart and mind to break the cycle of attachment to the traumatized identity that becomes a life-raft of certainty during overwhelm and shock. I did a breathing exercise for 15 minutes twice a day and it has the same effect. Mushrooms do the same thing at moderate doses by reducing blood to the default mode network.

This is just a re-packaging of the healing sounds that are a core practice in Chinese medical Qi Gong. Anyone interested can just look up videos for “the six healing sounds”. Also, we need to stop pretending that self help is going to solve the deep, systemic problems that cause the levels of despair we are seeing. Despair isn’t an individual problem, it’s a social problem.

Right???...it's not a stupid question at all, I just commented asking the same thing. I have no clue how to do it either. I really hate how videos like this just assume everybody knows how to do these things so easily. Then it's so very damn depressing reading through all the comments of people claiming how much it helps them. I seriously wonder if any are lying about it working. 🤔 I have tried some of the Somatic exercises, I have no idea how to communicate with my body or how to do this "body scan" I read about everywhere. I've always felt so deeply disconnected from myself, everyone and everything my whole life and I still do. What the hell does this mean? Am I too broken or something? It feels like very important parts of me were violently ripped out of me as a child and just thrown away like trash somewhere. I feel absolutely nothing from any of these exercises. 😕 I'm so sorry for my long comment, I just feel so hopeless...like I'm far too screwed up and broken for any form of therapy to finally help me heal. And I'm actually beginning Somatic Experiencing therapy with someone I found on the SE website this week. I'm so worried it won't help me. 😕...sorry again for my long reply here, thank you if read it all.

Don't focus on the outcomes. Just do the exercise. Inhale through the nose and "voo" or "om" on the out breath - and make the out breath longer. It reduces the oxygen level in the blood and slows a rapid heartbeat and lowers blood pressure. If you mind wanders during this, that's fine, just focus again on the sound ❤️

This seems like same sound as HU. Is it? Speaking in tongues does same for Christians which is my path.

many of these techniques are right out of yoga practice and in zen practice as well, breath awareness is constant for 30 minutes sittings etc. I would encourage the doctor as well as all healers to investigate the real cause of this Covid business and then inquire as to what is actually in the injectables they are administering. On Rumble and Bitchute there are hundreds of evidentiary testimonials now which might surprise you.

This exercise triggers in me a laughing response. I think it may be because the belly vibrates similar to belly laughter…

I am debilitated and paralyzed with panic attacks. HOW THE FUCK COULD HE DO THIS TO ME? HOW HOW HOW HOW HOW????? I'm all alone in the world. Desperately painfully ridiculously: ALONE. I'm in hell: with no escape. I don't see a way out. I'm drowning, suffocating. I'm in so much pain. Submerged in darkness and blackness. Flooded with terror. No light at the end of the tunnel. My only prayer is to die. This pain is killing me. Trauma and emotional turmoil. I am miserable and devastated. I hyperventilate with panic attacks. I CANNOT, DO NOT: BREATHE. I am abandoned and betrayed; discarded like last week's garbage!!! I just want to die! I can no longer bear this hell that I'm in. I just don't breathe. The pain is too unbearable. Panic and terror and trauma flood every cell of my being. I'm so desperately all alone. My world, my life: was changed, completely, in an instant. My heart is shattered. My soul is raped. I have severe PTSD. SEVERE SEVERE SEVERE. I am left devastated and despaired. I am anguished and tormented. I am haunted and I am in agony. I am terrified and I am traumatized. I AM DESPERATE FOR PRAYER. THIS EMOTIONAL TURMOIL IS TORTURE. DROWNING. SUFFOCATING. I am traumatized. every cell of my being is submerged in PTSD. he raped me. my so-called best friend; he raped me. maliciously intentionally viciously brutally intensely: raped my soul. discarded me like garbage. CONSTANT PANIC. having the devil inside him, is a legit explanation for what he's done to me... how will I get through this? how will I heal from this? he purged all his dysfunctions onto me... because he's unhealed and because he's fucked, I ended up being the collateral damage to his un-wellness!! HOW WILL I EVER HEAL? I HAVE SEVERE PTSD. SEVERE SEVERE SEVERE. he's given me severe PTSD. SEVERE SEVERE SEVERE. some of the most toxic and sick people come disguised as people that love you... he came disguised as my best friend... I AM DYING OF EMOTIONAL PAIN. THE GRIEF AND TERROR ARE ALL-CONSUMING. the darkness. the despair. the rage. THE PANIC. OH. MY. GOD. THE. PANIC!!! the person whom I thought was my best friend discarded me like garbage. replaced me with another. I desperately want to escape the pain that I'm in: debilitating paralyzing all-consuming hyperventilating panic and grief... he violently brutally viciously maliciously raped my soul. abandoned and betrayed me. and now I don't breathe. CAN'T BREATHE. I'm desperately trying to remember this. please, God, help me remember: ✨💖✨ I was created from all light, for I am light, I fear no darkness. for being light, I can see beyond darkness!!! 💫 "Don't look for healing at the same feet of those who broke you." - Rupi Kaur Feelings are just feelings. They are not facts! They are not me! And I can let them go! ♥♥♥ God is using my feelings to train and heal my heart and my soul, for a new healthy true-love relationship: with my twin-flame... - The highest most love that I deserve, I must give that to myself, first! - In a state of loving myself, I will attract, and be attracted to: the same kind of person. - I must STOP emptying my own cup for someone that is not pouring into mine. - Love finds me! * "Stop acting so small. You are the universe in ecstatic motion." * - Rumi
