A simple St. Augustine Grass Install Video

I'm in Texas 😢 but my son's a Sr. Airman at Eglin AFB, FL. What's the type of black soil that you used? Long story short, our Bradford Pear split, which was shading a large circle around the tree. We replaced with a Mexican White Oak which now the circle isn't shaded & looks ackward. We've decided to remove & replace large circle area with St. Augustine. I want to use soil you recommended before they lay the St Augustine. Wish you all serviced TX. Look forward to your reply USAF Mom Fly~Fight ~Win✈️
