People We Meet on Vacation is definitely Henry’s weakest book IMO. Beach Read is still my absolute favorite, with Happy Place coming in at a close second. I think her depth of character, banter, and emotional maturity really shine in her other 3 books, so I hope the next one works for you!

I'm a fan of the Dark Descent but totally understand why it isn't everyone's cup of tea. I'm a huge Frankenstein/Frankenstein retelling fan. I have tried Karina Halle and I just don't jive with her storytelling.

People We Meet on Vacation is by far my least favorite Emily Henry, it was at best a 3 star, maybe not even that. Luckily I had already read Beach Read so I knew she could write books I like and I've read Book Lovers since then as well and liked both of them much more. 📚📚
