We all know how your financial loan policy is exploiting small countries in South Asia and Africa. Noah Rudd’s Channel it’s cause China has very bad relationship Dalai Lama. There’s all sorts of bad(but semi-true) propaganda about him. His cult-like fanatics burning themselves and causing harm to other people, etc. Ultimately, bad relations is for political reasons. Dalai Lama wants Tibet to be free/separate country, but China cannot allow that because otherwise everyone else(Hong Kong for example) will want to break free and use that as an excuse. It’ll also be a massive headache for the government to deal with. Imagine the chaos that it would cause.

I think what he’s saying is that we’re wisest when we’re children. We don’t care who someone is or where they’re from, we’ll show them love and compassion anyway. But we lose that as we grow up because we’re taught that life is a competition. We’re taught that it’s dangerous to trust people you don’t know or to trust people from foreign places. So if we can hold onto our childhood wisdom, when we’re nothing but pure human beings free of influence, then we can begin to love one another again. We won’t feel like we have to meet certain expectations to be successful or accepted, we won’t feel anxious and depressed when we don’t meet those expectations. He’s saying instead of being taught how to be successful and make money, we should be taught that being childish is okay. Having fun with everything you do is okay. It’s okay to see the world differently. It’s okay to act differently. It’s okay to keep your magic. It’s okay to let yourself be free.
@kei87914 жыл бұрын
It reminds of of the Confucian rhymes, and how it starts. 人之初,性本善 - when humans are born, we were born naturally kind 性相近,习相远 - Even though we were born the same, our experiences and the way we grow up and what we learn are different, thus we grow to be different people. 苟不教,性乃全 - if we don't educate our children properly from young, we will risk overwriting the kindness and purity we were born with 教之道,贵以专 - the way to teach your children well, is to put your heart to it, focus well and teach.

Whether or not India is using the Dalai Lama is irrelevant. The Dalai Lama represents an independent Tibet under their traditional system of governance. India is at least somewhat protecting that, not China. China wants him to roll over and accept CCP rule on behalf of all Tibetans. This is all about Chinese rule of Tibet. A right they do not have. I just wonder how influenced you are by the Chinese propaganda machine. Your words are awfully familiar to typical Chinese anti-Tibetan independence and anti-India propaganda. What's next? You're gonna talk about supposed Tibetan "feudalism" and "serfdom?"

@drake13935 жыл бұрын
The comments are speaking of lust but it is possible to feel true love for someone with an absence of lust. What if he encountered someone who challenged him mentally and emotionally and felt that he may want to be forever attached to this one person so they could continue to grow together and spread happiness and knowledge without wanting to be sexually romantic with this person? Also speaking of lust I feel as though he is wise enough to realize that all humans will feel lust creeping into their minds at some point but it’s how you handle that which is more important than trying to ignore its existence

Great video! I was feeling extremely, lethally depressed yesterday when I drove through an intersection where a homeless woman of about my age stood with a sign. @konkey-dong4 жыл бұрын
Whenever I feel particularly hopeless, I always try to do a good deed of the day, as it obviously helps others, but it definitely helps my mind too - so much of the time, when I'm depressed, it's because I feel like I've wasted time and/or because I feel I am cut off from other people, but acts of generosity make me feel more accomplished and connected to other people. In particular, feelings of self-loathing and suicidal ideation can often be fended off for a bit by helping others, as it's harder to hate yourself or wish you didn't exist if you feel like someone else's life has been improved by your presence. To anybody else who is suffering from mental health issues, or just having a bad day, I highly recommend doing something altruistic as it not only benefits others, but also yourself. It is so easy when you are suffering to hyper-fixate on your own situation (in fact this often escalates the issue) but thinking about others instead is often a really good temporary cure.
@konkey-dong4 жыл бұрын
I particularly remember one day a month or two ago when my mental health was the worst it had been in a while, like dangerously bad, and a homeless woman approached me outside my local shop asking for money for a room for the night. I gave her what little cash was in my wallet and let her use my phone to call her mum, she thanked me and told me I was the first person to actually pay attention to her and we struck up a conversation. I told her it was my pleasure and explained I would have given her the full amount for the room but I didn't have that much money myself as my student loan was late, she understood and asked me about what I was studying, how I was getting on at uni etc. She asked my name and told me if she asked for money again, to tell her my name and that she would leave me alone as I had already done more to help than anyone else, to which I insisted I would still help if I could. I went home to put my food away with a spring in my step and a totally reversed mindset. It's crazy how much of a difference that one encounter made to my outlook that day and since then it's been a policy of mine to help others whenever I myself feel like I need help.

It's triggered heavily by the way modern society is built these days. When I look at the 'Traveling to the happiest country in the world" and "Travelling to the least visited country in the world", I see beautiful people with a beautiful culture build around taking care of each other. And I think that truely is the key to hapiness. When I look at my own country (the Netherlands), I see a grim place where people just want to use each other for their own benefit. This needs to change, and the movement you guys started is the key to this. Thank you guys

However, I have also met and know kind, generous, gentle people. 'We are all one people', we just live in different areas. Surely there's likeminded people to be found. Either way I wish you good luck in finding your peace.

ITheEric I completely agree. I read about this philosopher who lived in a big house with all his friends. he believed that the problem with society is how little time we spend with the people we care about. Having a connection to other living beings is a big part of having a happy life.

I really loved how you guys shifted from just seeking discomfort to global awareness. Tibet has been under Chinese rule for more than 60 years now. There are almost 6 million Tibetans, which is a very less number of population for a country. Due to the lack of advancements in technologies and military power, Tibet was illegally occupied by the Chinese government in 1959 and a lot of Tibetans fled Tibet and came to exile in India. India has since provided shelter to a lot of Tibetan people and we are truly grateful for that. One thing you guys didn't mention in the video that I'd like to highlight is that *Tibetans in Tibet are denied basic human rights and the world is doing nothing about it. Today's HongKong was yesterday's Tibet. Almost 148 Tibetans have self-immolated to protest against the Chinese government but the world still takes no notice. Why do they self immolate? That is because Tibetans in Tibet are denied communication with the outside world so the only way to get global attention to their ongoing sufferings is to self-immolated. * All the Tibetans in exile want to go back to Tibet and live in their motherland and practice their religion. So the Central Tibetan Administration, Tibetan government in exile (India), proposed a deal to the Chinese government known as the "Middle way approach", where we are ready to stay under the Chinese rule but we want basic human rights, we want to be able to practice our own religion. But the Chinese government is not ready to accept it yet. We hope to return to our motherland soon. I hope you guys knew something new about Tibet and its ongoing battle. Please support us. Thank you
