Obviously he didn't lie he said he asked for the cash after being told that it could not be refunded on the card and the video proved it was exactly as he said so what lie?? What's ridiculously hilarious is when people claim oh they lied but apparently didn't watch the video or listen to the case.
@Wendy-yg8yu
@Wendy-yg8yu Жыл бұрын
@@Lh-wq5gcry listening again. The cop said he went in with the card and statements. The defendant said the plaintiff had nothing. He walked in there expecting to just get a refund. If don’t have the card how else are you getting a refund except cash! When the defendant said about the cash, and the judge asked the cop, he stumbled about whether he asked for cash. He knew he was caught and then admitted. He is a liar and expected the judge to believe him. Listen closely as he talks fast and mumbles when he gets to that spot. It’s easy to make a judgement when your not really listening.

@@Wendy-yg8yu no way you're wrong.. first of all your reply has not a thing to do with your saying he is a liar 🤣🤣🤣 he admitted he asked for cash after and the video shows it but I need watch it again ok...the first line out of the defendants mouth in the video proves he saw the new card even judge Milian didn't pick up on that obvious fact with the new card on the counter....the video clearly shows him asking for a refund he had the new card not the old one when he was told he could not receive it on the card because there was a discrepancy with the numbers on the cards he asked for cash...... I'm not going to argue with you I am just pointing out facts that are verified in the video which you weren't paying attention to CLEARLY

oooorrrrrr the plaintiff could've... yknow, come back with the receipt like how a typical refund works.
@JeremiahLOsborne
@JeremiahLOsborne Жыл бұрын
@@justvincenturb obviously, the defendant didn't need the receipt. There was only one credit card charge on that day for the amount that the plaintiff is suing for, and the plaintiff knew what the credit card number was on the paper. That's proof enough. And seriously, over $120? I can understand if we're talking about thousands of dollars out of someone's bank account, but this is very petty. Like I said, one guy wanted to break the rules, and the other guy wanted to enforce them to the absolute furthest he could.
@minhduong1484
@minhduong1484 10 ай бұрын
@ahLOsborne The plaintiff didn't give the credit card number when he wanted the refund was the issue. In the plaintiff's own video, the defendant said he needed at least the last 4 digits as verification, and the plaintiff refused to give him that. From the defendant's testimony which the plaintiff does not deny, the plaintiff wanted cash back. From the defendant's standpoint, a guy comes in without a receipt and an attitude and wants cash refund on a credit card purchase but does not want to give the credit card number as verification. What would you do if you were a shop owner? Instead of giving him 4 numbers, the plaintiff sued. The entire suit might have been avoided if the plaintiff just gave the defendant 4 numbers.

"I said, 'Here's the card...'" No, you gave him the NEW card, which has a different card number (clearly, his credit card was hacked, and his new card, of course, had a different number). I don't believe that the refund will go through because that card was canceled. It doesn't matter that it's the same account because the purchase went through the card. What the plaintiff SHOULD have provided is documentation from the credit card company showing: 1) Card A (whose number matches the receipt) was canceled (it doesn't matter why), and 2) Card B (the new card the plaintiff has) was issued to replace card A. The defendant tried to tell the plaintiff that, but he wouldn't listen. That being said, the defendant's receipts are ridiculous. The customer's name, and name on the credit card should be shown on the receipt.

She usually interrupts because she asks a specific question, and litigants tend to go off on tangents, because they do not want to answer the actual question.

@nicklebaby I'm surprised in the over 25 years JJ has been on, there's ONLY TWO episodes I've seen where people walked out the courtroom in the middle of the episode bc they weren't going to take JJ's 💩. But they come back when JJ reminds them, the show will only pay for plane ticket back home ONLY if they behave.

For real. JJ has literally called people idiots and has made fun of, the usually underemployed/unemployed unattractive cheating boyfriend/husband, that two females are suing each other over while he's sitting there. JJ is savage!

Ridiculous to rent clothes for an event.

Guys wear tuxedos to proms and most won’t wear one again until they’re in a wedding. It would be a worse investment to buy a tux for an 18 year old who likely won’t fit into it by the end of freshman year of college.
