The Barbie movie itself is in my opinion so much different than others kinda like the "Diamond Castle" Barbie's character is more introverted, the world is super interesting gives me elves vibes (not that i read one of them just am thinking about it lol). The "Ken/Carlos" is also very unique compared to the others Even kinda Minecraft lol as in not many different specie around just more land. It's definitely one of my favorites. Sadly the second part didn't capture the in my opinion unique energy.

Honestly Mariposa was such a religion to me as a kid, I've always loved the way they designed the fairies in this title and the dolls, oh woah the doll is just something off a wish list, it's iconic, an inspirational movie especially yeah, she's weird, a day dreamer and hecc yeah a bookworm to that only book she adored so much. Then came the 2nd movie of disaster, we don't talk about that.

I loved the second movie but not because of the plot but because of the Prince's scene in the library 😭😂 Hopefully they make another movie and undo whatever the second movie was. Like i love the animation style, the colours and the friendship trope but they need to make 1-2 more movies on this. Mariposa has such a big potential!

The coconut mall and Harry Potter moments killed me 😂 I all honesty though, I really like this movie. I’m glad that someone else got to voice the main character (and it was perfect), the side characters like Willa were actually important, and Henna is a pretty good villain. I love Mariposa as a character, she’s cute and has a beautiful design. The skeezites were…very weird. I don’t know if they’re the weirdest characters I’ve seen in a Barbie movie, but they’re up there.
