I love the Gunner Hanson reference. (For those who don't know who Gunner Hanson is, he played Leatherface in the original Texas Chainsaw Massacre).

great story, I love how the majority of the story is just a conversation between Cooper and Gunner, how it naturally builds tension with out the use of needing to hide from a monster or denom.

Yeah a gun wouldn’t do much for you when you’re caught off guard. “I know you just hit me on the head and I should be knocked out, but I’m going to stay conscious for a minute here so I can shoot you if that’s alright. Oh, sorry, it’s got stuck in the holster. There we go. Now stand still please while I shoot you. Oops forgot to turn the safety off. There we go ok I’ll call 911. Yeah this guy hit me on the head and I’ll go unconscious in a second but could you send an ambulance to my location? Thanks. Ok I can pass out now”
@ryanwalsh50194 жыл бұрын
@Adithya Brijeshwhat? I was just talking about the story. In the exact scenario of the story, having a gun wouldn't have helped the protagonist.

If they had they had the resources for guns, bullets, gas to drive out to town and get more humans to eat. Then why didn't the people just move from town... or if they were opposed to that idea they could've used it to get more resources or better yet state help. ._. I'm starting to think that after a while the town just liked to eat people. Sickening.... I love it :3.

What a great way to get rid of an abusive parent
@ryanwalsh50195 жыл бұрын
That abusive dad got exactly what he deserved (my parents are incredible but I’ve heard stories). But I still felt bad for him in the end when he comforted his son in his final moments. Almost like the whole time he didn’t actually hate him deep down, and he was both apologizing and forgiving him with his final act.
