Unfortunately Amazigh is no longer the native language, that would be Darija 😕Still, it IS the former native language, and a massive national language. Is Akuch "God"?

It wasn't just gold and diplomacy that kept the ottomans away. We fought them and also tried to invade their territory multiple. As for the Sahara thing, it's not that back and white. Most of sahrawis are Moroccans and have chosen to remain so after independence. Some of them though decided that they wanted to be their own thing and it was them who we fought against (they were helped by lybia first then Algeria and many other socialist countries). That group isn't the same one as today. It has been corrupted and is now serving the Algerian government instead of the people who initially wanted to sperate.

Thank you for clarifying for other people! Most of those people were actually captured from Algeria and not given any citizenship or passport, meaning they can't leave Algeria, and were at first sent to the Western Sahara region to fight for independence, but after Morocco recaptured most of its land, they moved back into the region in Algeria, Tindouf. But the "polisario" army is in the 10 percent of land they control near Tindouf, regularly skirmishing with the Moroccans.

Bruh the Sahrawi ppl of Morocco have the highest attendance in elections, they are Moroccans, why is the lie that moroccan sahrawis don't want to be Moroccans so spread in the west? for Gods sake, the comunist separatist grp is not the representatives of the sahrawi ppl, they are a communist milicia that was backed by the soviet union and it's Allies aka Algeria, Lybia, Cuba and Venezuela, Morocco was the only pro west country in the region during the cold war, the separatists are a remnant of this cold war and they are by no means the only sahrawis, they live in Algeria and lunch attacks on their cousins and ppl who belong to the same tribes as them ffs. And ignoring how Spain took the Sahara in the first place, and the numerous wars Morocco led in the sahra against them, spain only controlled few coastal cities by the 20th century, or the 1958 war Morocco waged against Spain to liberate the sahara where thousands of Moroccan soldiers died by the bombs of the french and spanish planes in what we call la Guerra Olvidada 1 year after the independence of Morocco, that was not a cool move

The video is good but it contains some mistakes when it comes to some maps and I refer to the almarinids map the saadis map and the alaouit map(past and current map) bc the alaouit dynasty exists from the 17th century until now. Also.there is nothing called natives to the Sahara,people from the Moroccan Sahara and many other territories which were Moroccan before they were split by colonial powers from Morocco. They consider themselves as Moroccan. Even today people from the Moroccan Sahara practice their rights and take part of the national and regional elections .choosing their representatives and take part when it comes to the country's development.

Nice video, great effort for the pronunciation, but a bit lame that you made it look like the sahara region wasn't part of Morocco prior to decolonization when it objectively was for hundreds of years (easily verifiable info, just have a look at the maps of the alawi empire). And also to say that sahrawis as a whole don't consider themselves Moroccan just shows your ignorance/bias (?) on this matter as it is also verifiably false. I guess that's the downside of making these videos at such frequency.

A lot of the information you presented during this video are unfamiliar for me. Where did you learn that Morocco payed the ottomans to stay independent ? It's heavily controversial, to say the least, presenting knowledge as facts when there's not enough sourcing presented. I strongly disagree with some of your claims.

I see some ottomans here still cry and whine since then, after not being able to conquere Morocco, it's been hundreds of years stop crying, as you heard my fellas, Morocco was the only north African country that's not been conquered by Ottomans, as a matter of fact, ottomans tried and failed, get over it. Morocco actually conquered Spain and Portugal, ottomans stood no chance.

@@papazataklaattiranimam Berbers kicked out Arabs in 750-780 during berber revolts. All Moroccan dynasties are domestic. The Saadi are from Tafilalelt & Souss, they just claim Sharif descent but they are 100% Moroccan (ethny, dialect). Turks or Ottomans could never step in Morocco. I remind how the Saadi Commander of the faithful Muhammad Echeikh insulted Suleyman because he considered him as a primitive Nomad turkic. In Morocco, Turkish culture is considered primitive not enough reffined. I mean look at Moroccan palaces far more beautiful than topkapi

Morocco flag used the star of david. The current flag is created by french colonists general Hubert Lyautey because the previous resembled the jew symbol. The current moroccan flag is a colonial flag
@3adir_
@3adir_ Жыл бұрын
Colonial flag It was also Lyautey who created Morocco’s current flag in 1915, writes Jonathan Wyrtzen, professor of sociology at Yale University, in his book Making Morocco: colonial intervention and the politics of identity. In it, he explains, among other things, why that flag had to be renewed so urgently: ‘The decree introducing the flag clarified that the old emblem could be confused with other flags (especially naval ones).’ And, Wyrtzen continued, ‘that a new symbol was necessary because of “progress made by our Cherifian empire”’. The new flag, with a five-pointed green star on a red background, was to distinguish Morocco from other nations. The six- or eight-pointed stars traditionally used in Morocco were probably too closely associated with Jewish symbols for a European like Lyautey, Wyrtzen supposed. For the resident-general, the five-pointed star of Ottoman origin was a more clearly Islamic emblem, even though it had never been used in Morocco before.
