Hey thanks man, and heck ya on getting into shaping! Dude, that’s a super good question, I actually have some mica powder sitting in the garage waiting to try! For sure it works with epoxy, but I’m actually not really sure with poly. Either you or I ought to mix a small batch with mica and laminate a small amount of cloth to give it a test. I’ll give it a try this week and comment the results below, been meaning to test it out for ages!

At the dark arts stand, that’s Tomo in the background. He would have been amazing to get some time with. He’s a little out there with some designs but he is really pushing the bar with materials and design

@@JDubHannah Very great video man, I really enjoyed the discussion with Lost Ark. I'm so scared to do any resin tint but seeing his work makes me wanna send it and see what happens!

Heck ya man, got to get out there and start grinding to get good!! One thing he mentioned off camera I wish I had caught, he talked about how he has tinted enough he has a feel for each color, they kick a little different speeds, can be problematic if one color kicks faster than the others, also if he talked about how if they kick too slow the colors tend to smear and not come out as crisp. Essentially there is an ideal kick zone, fast enough the colors don’t start to blend, and tubing into how fast each color kicks so you can catalyze the whole pot to cure at the same time. The man is an artist!!!

Interesting to see the different opinions between Dark Arts and Kazuma. Although the environmental statement Kazuma made are doubtful.
