I was watching some of your older videos - I know you used the enamel spray for this one - that won't yellow over time correct? Also - do you think it would give the board a more solid/shiny look (and still be able to be written on) with the epoxy/resin?

Ya, as long as you get a high quality enamel spray it really shouldn’t yellow on you. Epoxy would be the very best to coat the board with but it’s a LOT of sanding and polishing, you more or less are doing a full glass job at that point. For ease of use I’d personally definitely recommend a spray on clear coat. Then if you want to really seal in all the precious memories and signatures you can add another layer of clear coat! Keep it inside and out of the sun and she should last forever!

Ya it’s sort of an overlooked flaw, the only way around it is to completely unwind the school and cut off the taped end and then re-spool the whole role…. I’m in the process of building a Filament spooler to do this

@JDubHannah i cant buy bambus filament anymore. unwinding is way too much work for me and not worth it

Ya, it’s a little ridiculous to do, but for me it’s worth it. I do love the quality and price of Bambi filament when purchased in bulk as well

@@DGT73 very fun in grovely surf waist to chest high! high volume in small package, does a great job catching underpowered waves but in a compact enough package very maneuverable!

@ there’s three different lines that you can line your fin marks up with. You failed to mention which one is the correct spot On the right side it’s the left mark and the left side it’s the right mark. The center line is for the trailer or back quads that have a trailer style fin
