You should have went down to play with it! Maybe take a selfie while holding the cub. The mother probably likes it when people pay so much attention to her cubs. But be sure to mask your scent by smearing peanut butter all over yourselves, or the mother won't allow it back in the den.

When the sand paper on the pad becomes clogged up it’s due to a lack of styrene and plain candle wax 10% mixture which is added to the resin when mixing up and applying the Hot Coat. This is prevents the sand paper from being clogged up by the resin dust, making for a good sanding job afterwards.👍

All flour products (corn products, too) have larva. It can’t be helped. When I buy anything made with flour, (pasta, flour, etc) I put it in the freezer for at least 3 days. I store my flour bags in the freezer. I have sealed glass containers in the pantry and refill as necessary. I bought Mac and cheese from Publix and got the first round of bugs in my pantry.

@RockandSeaGarageBoardShopАй бұрын
Nah man, turned out great, and yes poly resin! you would get into problems if you didn’t squeegee off excess acrylic paint thoroughly, if you left a thick layer the resin wouldn’t be bonding to the foam and you would get de-lamination. But with good technique zero issues🙌🙌🙌

Having sanded and glassed about 5k boards in my time all done with a vary speed sander polisher i can confirm its the tool for the job .I custom adjusted my sanding pads to add a slight curve to stop edge catching .Rails i did by hand 60 grit then a soft pad 2 interface pads on the sander slower speed .When your working on piece work A fixed price per board getting it done quickly is paramount .On filters i used 3M vapour for glassing and switched to my own made dust filters by taking the vapour cartridge apart and and tripe ling up with particle filter pads inside .When your sanding all day even with a 2 foot extractor fan in the room its dusty .Great video .Retired now haven't sanded a board for 12 years now .PS i was the first in uk to trial the auto net Velcro sanding discs they are way better than paper especially where polishing is concerned as there are no stray bigger grit than stated partials plus there way faster .
@RockandSeaGarageBoardShopАй бұрын
Very nice! 5K boards is a serious notch to have under your belt! Also very cool on your dust filter setup, I just bought a new dust extractor and am going to do a cool buildout video, designing system now. It’s funny how interesting dust extraction can be
@robertturner8040Ай бұрын
Funny thing with extraction we had a 2foot fan in the spray room and a 2foot fan in the sanding room wall mounted to get these to work properly you had to have the main door open so the air could move through great in summer but friking cold in winter with temps dropping below freezing at times ,Glassing was difficult

@RockandSeaGarageBoardShopАй бұрын
Heck ya stoked to hear it! I rough shape all my PU boards with 50 grit sandpaper, life is 100% easier with 50 grit. Once you have got your blank shaped, fine sand with 120 of if your super fancy give it a final polish to 220!

I'm considering the A1 mini as my entry to 3d printing but would need heat resistant filaments (main purpose: custom computer case). Does such an enclosure work well enough for ABS / fiber reinforced filaments?
@RockandSeaGarageBoardShopАй бұрын
Unfortunately not, you really need to bump up to either the x1c or 01s to print and and carbon fiber reinforced. But you will not regret it. I started on a basic ender 3, very fun but frustrating at times, bambulab makes 3D printing so much easier and stress free especially if your just getting into it!! Auto bed leveling is a game changer and all the other little features that add up and make a night vs day difference
