Excellent episode! Couple of quibbles, one can cut holes in a torque box without loosing stiffness or strength. It will cost some weight for reinforce the area. Personally, the Temec system on the C8 is so superior to a manual clutched transmission as to be sort of silly to revert. The carbon rear bumper structure was a real surprise. The flyover were T6 "Texans" or their RCAF Harvard II variant. Very successful North American trainer/light attack aircraft with many still being flown and raced by enthusiasts anywhere they can.

Interesting blog again Morgan. Neat to see the cutaway of my car, & your explanation of how they engineered it. My manual car days are over, due to left foot injuries sustained during many years of soccer playing, but enjoy the automatic ride immensely nonetheless...

Enjoy your videos! Thank you. I own a 21 C8 (and many others over the years) and unfortunately totally disagree with you on the manual. It is so needed in this car. I would happily climb over 3-4 more inches of a door sill to have a manual if that were the case. The C8 is more of a ride than drive experience, unless of course you track it, which I don’t. Great car, but needs a manual. Thanks

My guess that Z06 is going to have a magnesium alloy frame.

Drove to Finch to order a 2022 C8 - asked if I could sit in it for a minute to verify it was comfortable they refused to let me sit in a $100,000 C8 -I am surprised they even let me look in the window but expected me to buy one anyway - I took my business elsewhere

I remember you coming in and I did not have any C8’s on my lot that were able to be sit in sir.
