Well, all I know is that Jeff Tweedy is in his mid-fifties and that Wilco's biggest success was around the mid Oughts, so is it possible that you're not so much getting old as just... old? ;-)

I would think that the older you are, the more likely you are to know all of them. To a certain point. The bargain-priced, double cd "Being There" by Wilco will tell you if you're a potential Jeff Tweedy fan, and the story collection "Pastoralia" will tell you the same thing about George Saunders (especially the title story and "Sea Oak"--overall, the collection is sort of hit and miss, but those are two of the funniest things I've ever read--and I read a lot!).
