I’m watching this video Now that the 2024 world championship has been completed: both players played it so safe throughout the tournament that, yes: where is the soul and fire of the game. The ingenuity was incremental and calculated but none of the games had any sense of immortality!

White bishop to d3 threatening checkmate. If he threatens check in return block with knight to e2. If he moves his black bishop to c4, you just take his bishop with yours. Maybe I’m wrong going in that direction ?

Yeah I like the checkmate better. I was wrong about black bishop placement after skipping video back and forth. Still I think it’s the best move, the checkmate threat.
