I think they're working up to this. Don't forget to use pimax headsets for a better 8k experience! ;) Could also be used to manipulate and experience the artifacts themselves and use them in a virtual recreation of the ships setting for them.

If we want to, we'll be able to go back in time ourselves, or see Titanic through the mind of another soul (through telepathy) who actually was on the ship. All our questions about Titanic and the experience of it, will finally be answered, right before our very own eyes. And who knows - maybe some of us actually were on Titanic ourselves, in our past life.

I went to one of their exhibits back in 2011 at the Henry Ford museum it was so cool...I got to see a bunch of stuff but my favorite had to be one of her telegraphs still set to the all stop position and a small piece of iron with holes in it where rivets once where that I was allowed to touch,

You never know, James Cameron may be interested in providing a donation, now that there's official clout behind the project (RMS Titanic Inc). For those not aware, Cameron is a big Titanic buff and explored the wreck for years after making the movie.

It still would be nice if there will be some sort of game that will come out of this project were you can take the role of a fictional person. In Titanic: Adventure out of Time you could do both. Tour the ship was an option and the fictional game was awesome...The graphics (for those days) were great as well. So that's why I hope that there will be some sort of story mode for the game as well...Can't wait for the final project because like so many other fans I'm following this project ever since it came to life. Keep up the good work !

It's great to have so much accurate detail on this project both visually & historically, but having a fictional campaign to play through while the true events play out around you just sounded so awesome. Ever since playing "Titanic...Hidden Mysteries: Secrets Of The Fateful Voyage" on the Wii, I've wanted a high quality story based game to play through taking place on Titanic. Hopefully we'll still get that.

This is awesome news! I noticed you mentioned the 2,200~ NPCs in the past tense--is that no longer something is happening? I remember hearing that announcement and that was really got me super hype for H&G!

Promising 2,200 NPCS that you can go up to and talk to was a massive mistake from the previous era of THG. No video game studio with any experience would have promised this. VDR is a mostly volunteer based team of about 5-10 people. We would struggle to make ONE npc let alone 2,200. So yes, we have scrapped our plans for that.

GREAT NEWS! Now: partner with someone who can use AI to re-create you and your team members so when you give updates, you can appear to do them while walking on the Titanic. Taking a virtual tour of 401 would be so much more engaging if a virtual "you" were there as tour guide. Or Matthew and all the rest of the team. I'm sure AI could do the heavy lifting quickly and in a realistic way.

Very good! One other thing for release since it's hardware demanding: Have you considered partnering with a cloud gaming provider like Nvidia Now or Google Stadia (if that still exists). That would be a way to give access to this for a lot of people who don't have a souped up computer but are very likely interested in still. I supposed packaging is everything here: A consumer doesn't care that it's running in the cloud. They only wanna experience it (interactively). Like "Here is your ticket to Titanic. It will expire or can only be used once." (since cloud would usually be a subscription, which isn't really what such people want here, I guess). One thing I notice with myself with marketing: Even though I'm following this for years now, this video reminded me how difficult it can be to keep track of who or what is doing what to what end (for yourself, think of all the (former) companies/entities and acronyms involved by now. There somewhere is/was a four funnels GmbH). This might be obvious for anybody involved, but to (even more) outsider people hard to follow or understand at all. For instance I'm aware that this no longer will be a video game and more of a digital museum and maybe it will be licensed to other studios for game play narrative and a sinking!? I'm still not sure under what name the final product will be released. Is it gonna be "Titanic: Honor and Glory" or "Project 401" (which again: That's an insider's view with likely way less reach and sales). There are lots of people who know and are interested in Titanic, but I doubt most of them would understand or find it with it being named "Project 401". love your work and efforts! J.
