Too-ticki is based on Toves lover and partner Tuulikki Pietilä, who was the one who gave Tove the idea to "Moominland Midwinter" in the first place, and was never meant as a substitute for Snufkin. As for the similarities between Too-ticky and Snufkin however, it seems to be due to the fact that Tove had a "type". Since Snufkin was based on her one time fiancee Atos Wirtanen, while Tuulikki, like I mentioned, was her partner from the late 50's until Toves death.

Too-Ticky is so underrated imo. Love this compilation. Only complaint is I would've loved some clips of her from New Moomin (70's anime). She's got a whole different personality there and is really cool when she's not being arrogant lol. She's a philosopher and a poet. She even has a brief stint where she goes around breaking everything and doing crimes because she becomes convinced that life is pointless and Snufkin of all people has to talk her out of it.
