I love this room. You have to be careful because your guests may never leave. Your mother's curtains are beautiful, the quilt is so unique and beautiful, as is all the Asian furniture. The Norwegian Tapestries pillow reminds me of my grandmother and aunts. There are so many things to look at in there and enjoy. Thank you for showing us your treasures in the guest house. I loved seeing everything and hearing about why they are there.

What a cozy, charming guest house. I love that you have Nancy Drew books! I have a few that were passed on to my sisters and I when we were children. One of them is from 1930 with wonderful illustrations of Nancy in her "roadster" wearing a cloche hat. The other books are from the 1940s and 50s. Everything in your guest house is so beatuiful and I love that everything has a story. Thank you for sharing. 💖

I was delighted to see the bell pull embroidered with garden birds. I am knitting again from your Field Guide to Knitted Birds. It is such a treasure! So funny and imaginative! I belong to a Ravelry group called the Harry Potter Knit and Crochet House cup; I play for Ravenclaw. :) I submitted a Bird with a Sweater of Small Motifs to a Headmistress' Challenge, and it was just selected for a showcase of Winter term projects. I was so pleased and complimented, but of course, all the credit goes to your design.

Your cottage is lovely! What a joy your guests must experience when they discover something new each time that they glance around the room! I am also a great fan of rocking horses, and yours are really nice. Every room needs a bookcase, and the quilt on the bed is glorious! My friend, Turid, had similar curtains in her apartment in Moss! Love the quilt, that’s very pretty..A very nice old fashioned room, all goes together well. Another good old Farrow and Ball .so pleased someone is as bad as us., our whole house is painted in Farrow and Ball . There colours are unique.. think you will have to have a go at making quilt , I think you would come up with something really nice. Ice you have something of your mums in your home. I think it will do Rob to have a good sleep before summer use.. hehe thank you for showing us around your cottage. It will be almost time for him to come out again.enjoy rest of your break. I think you mentioned you were coming to England a little while back but not sure if that’s this May or next. Bit wet here here at the moment.

I, too, enjoy the eclectic design style. Absolutely nothing in my house matches either! Our son calls our home “The Museum” as it is a collection of furniture and home decor collected and received from friends and family (mostly my parents, in-laws and grandparents). Everyone who visits says our home feels comfortable, cozy and lived in. My husband and I feel as though we have kept those people who are very dear to us with us through the things they have gifted to us and things we inherited upon their passing!
