When I decide to get rid of my haunted Jeep Commander can I drop it off so you can do a video? It has over 280,000 miles and still rumbles when going over 60. Only 4 times it broke down on me in 10 years needing a tow. It was heater core. Have replaced parts like drive shaft and wear and tear parts.

I feel your pain Alex my old reliable town and country van has been driving me nuts can not keep the check engine light out long enough to get the plates renewed, every time it is a new code, so going to let that one set and fix a colorado pickup I bought with a slipping 3rd gear, that I can fix in a few days heve been driving the wifes Suzuki it does not feel right, I have to wear hoodies and duck down at stoplights going to ruin my reputation driving this POS!!

Hey Alex, my 2013 ram 5.7 hemi blew a head gasket, so I will be tearing it down to replace the gasket. I honestly couldn’t tell if it needed a lifter job or not beforehand, so while I was in there I was planning on putting new lifters. Should I do this? If so, where’s a good place to buy some? I see some kits online but I’m just not sure if they’re any good.

last one of these I did I had to get the lifters from the dealer, it has been over a year ago, everyone had the cam but not lifters, I would inspect them if they still look good I would go with them rather than take a chance on something on the internet

Absolutely not true! You can tell how good a Mechanic is by the car he drives, a really good mechanic usually has a car that most are surprised it will run. This is because a very good mechanic never has no time to work on his or her own.

idk - my mechanic drives a 15 year old avalon - he takes care of it - but it doens't need much - but he still will do a timing belt and fix anything on it - i think a good mechanic buys a car that is mechanically decent becuase he doens't have much personal time
