New subscriber here. I like the way the employee use their own bike to go to work. And the video of building the frames its cool! 👍👍👍

I'm very impressed at the craftsmanship that goes into these Co Motion bikes. My wife and I are investing in a Co Motion Tandem bike this coming month. We can't wait to get ours!

What a privilege to be hired for building bicycles! I like working on my own. :) I hope you guys design more pinion box make cycles. These are the best for long distance bike touring.
@buckroger64563 жыл бұрын
Do you like the pinion more then a Rohloff gearhub?
@StarEssences3 жыл бұрын
@@buckroger6456 From my own research of them and hearing reviews of their performance during bike touring, pinion box are more reliable and virtually maintenance free.

@@StarEssences ok. I've been looking into both and have only heard good thing about both systems. I'm looking at either a full blown touring bike or going for a custom hardtail Mtb with rear racks for bike camping and trail riding. I've just been finding some people do it for both systems and other for only one of them.

@@buckroger6456 Look into Pinion gear box with a Carbon gates belt drive set up. Check out, Co-Motion bikes and Priority bikes also has a really nice mtb 29er pinion gear/carbon gates belt drive set up too made specifically for bikepacking adventures.

@@StarEssences I'm very familiar with all of those. I'm just torn on pinion gearbox or rohloff gearhub. Co-motion offers both and says both are great. Oh I'm most definitely going gates carbon belt drive as well.

There is this woman with her long hair in this film, who works at the grinding machine. Her long hair could be wrapped in the grinding machine and it leads to badly injuries.

That was my first thought too.

Why is she out of the kitchen in the first place? Edit* Just kidding. She seems badass.

Agreed, not the safest to have long hair hanging down near any machine like a belt sander.

I want to know more about those couplers!
@alantaylor82812 жыл бұрын
I have the S&S couplers on my Thorn Nomad Rohloff touring bike and they are great. I can split the frame and pack my bike into an airline sized square case so I don’t have to pay to fly my bike. It’s also useful if you need to make your bike smaller to fit into a small car or luggage space. It is definitely worth the extra cost.
@datalaforge2 жыл бұрын
@@alantaylor8281 Thanks for the reply! Do you feel like the couplers change the ride quality or structural integrity? I ride a single speed mountain bike and I'm wondering if this might be a worthy mod.
@alantaylor82812 жыл бұрын
@@datalaforge The stiffness and integrity of the frame does not change at all, apparently it makes the frame stronger. They are a great addition to the frame and brilliant when the bike needs fitting into a small space.
