L Ryan Queen Uniek is an incredible girl who takes everything in her stride even when she’s not totally sure about something she absolutely trusts Yvonne without question because she knows Yvonne will always keep her safe,they have a beautiful relationship & that in itself is a big reason why she allows things like this to happen. The other aspect of it is Uniek’s character (Friesian’s in general are calm,gentle & easygoing horses)she has a lot of experience and new situations don’t bother her as much being an older lady (14) she is often used as a guide/calming influence on the younger horses when they are shown or asked to try something for the first time. When one of the fillies is put in pair to drive for the first time she will often be put with Uniek because of her steady firm leader skills,she knows exactly what she’s supposed to do and will take the other horse with her;they learn there’s nothing to fear and as long as they follow her and do what she does everything will be fine,all the horses learn from each other but Uniek seems to have a special effect on the young ones all have total trust in their Queen.👑💖

Melissa Walker Yvonne & Uniek have a very deep,trusting relationship that was forged early on when Uniek was a 3 year old which was around the time Yvonne started working at the stable,this is also how Friesian horses are in general(calm,relaxed & easygoing.)Uniek was also the first horse Yvonne began training as they did dressage together reaching the 3rd top level,hence why Uniek has her Sport predicate so this too helped strengthen the bond they have,to me it’s as if each knows what the other is thinking it truly is a beautiful thing to see the love these incredible ladies share as special & amazing as they are.💖💖 The Queen takes everything in her stride with grace the way only a Queen can,she truly is “unique” one in a million.👑👑
