Put me in a vintage toy shop with toys made in the '50s, '60s & '70s and I will be in heaven. The only reason these are still around today is that they aren't made in China. Item's made from 1999-2000 to these days are just garbage, & I don't see much being made these days that will be collectable in 30 or 40 years as they won't be around. What a great video Don, just loved it. Thank you so much. Charles in the UK

Action Figures, Charles---all those Pop Culture plastic things based on movies and video games will be worth a lot...heck, some already are! But, I'm with you----I was a child in the 60s and have lots of fond memories of the play things we had...which weren't a lot, actually! We were told to go play outside and we managed with sticks and sports.

I had a guy come by to buy action figures and other things . I noticed about 5 frisbees in a drawer and thought I better hang on to them till I could check comps. Then today this video comes out. Thank you

I never thought to look for these old ones! My dad has a bunch of these from the 70s and 80s, but he still plays frisbee golf. There are leagues and courses around here that people take very seriously. They have different discs for different parts of each hole, just as in regular golf and they carry around their sets in backpacks or shoulder bags. Thanks for the info, Don!

Just to add to the video here the “ steady Ed “ disc golf disc is worth really good money . I think but don’t know for sure Ed created the frisbee for whamo then he started making disc golf discs . When Ed died they made discs with his ashes and sold them for around $600 from what I remember

Nice! thanks for the tips, every time i watch one of your videos I seem to find exactly what you have talked about at my next sale. The sad part is people are getting more and more up to date on the value of things and it's challenging to get something for nearly nothing.

I bought 50 or so at an estate sale a while back. They didn't last. The glow in the dark Moonlighter is popular. The red white and blue were bicentennial editions available until about 1980 if I remember correctly.

Hello Professor 👨‍🏫 👋 I have a question please 🙋🏼‍♀️where I’m from we have ALOT of parades due to Mardi Gras and the other holidays. My question is are those tiny ones they throw out with bead necklaces/candy/plush? I run across the small ones with various and many old Mardi Gras designs on them or they come from some of our tourists fav’s restaurants like ie Lambert’s Café (They are famous for throwing hot fresh baked rolls across the dining area & great southern food 😋BUT there’s only 3 total in the USA & it’s a family owned business. So....what do you think?? Maybe??

Hoping you see this and can do a video. Ebay is changing the listing tool, and the first thing I noticed is that the 'Relist for up to 8x for free' feature of auctions is gone. It looks prettier, and feels 'simpler' but there seems to be less ability to customize a listing.
@aeioufromebay
@aeioufromebay 2 жыл бұрын
What the new system has done is eliminate rolling your auction at 35 cents per 8 weeks indefinitely, and it forces you to not 'waste' any of your 250 free listings ... or it 'encourages' you to spend $75 per month ($60 if you pay it all at once) to get a store.
@aeioufromebay
@aeioufromebay 2 жыл бұрын
The more I try to revamp my auctions, the more I find they have changed. There is now a fee if you add BIN to an Auction and a Fee to schedule the Auction. Essentially, E-bay is working as hard as possible to eliminate (by bumping up fees a LOT) the ONLY thing they have that sets their platform apart. Every other platform has a version of "Here's my product. Here's how much I want." and if E-bay wants to be 'just another platform to resell' (with no auctions) they are shooting themselves in the foot. They are nowhere near the best at that format, and if they keep leveling the playing field by eliminating the things they have that make them unique ... they are literally killing themselves.

Every one shown in the video sold already on eBay in the last 90 days. I am only showing a VERY small percent of what sold as well. You have to look at sold only listings as they are clearly there.
