Great question. I'm going to be transparent about this so nobody is misled. So under the hood, it does have the capability for multitimbrality built-in, but the UI doesn't reflect it. It's capable of it, but there's no forward way to access it currently unless you access the hidden parameters (not too hard in most daws, but not ideal). It's something I'd consider adding, but it would require a considerable amount of work to get functioning in a more user-friendly manner, so it's not a priority at the moment. Pitch bending is locked at 2 semitones for the time being. This is a limitation of the framework I used, and not something I'd have chosen. 12 semitones pitch bending would be ideal in my opinion as well. That said, there is customizable glide, mono and portamento for another approach at pitch bending. You can always try out the free version and see if it's right for you! Bear in mind, this plugin's development is ongoing and updates are free for life! But I understand if you have specific criteria and this plugin doesn't meet them. This is a known issue, and it's in mentioned on the purchase page. The file is safe, but it throws flags because it's from an unknown source and contains program data (.dll). You will have to either manually whitelist it, or click "download anyway."

That could be said of almost any sample library. As much as I love soundfonts (hence my name), that format is sorely lacking in capabilities when compared to VST and AU. For example, soundfonts aren't capable of on-board reverb, delay, or other effects. Soundfonts can't have round robins or custom GUI, and have a hard ceiling for the amount of sample data that can be contained within them. A plugin can do all of these things and more. This could not have been a soundfont.

testing the free version right now and it is really awesome so far. I consider buying it but wanted to know if the full version had the option to turn off velocity-controlled dynamics in favor of CC (like CC11 or CC2)? It feels a bit weird to have strings, winds or organs respond to how hard you press the keys. Other than that, the free sounds are great and the reverb sounds really good. They capture the feel of the old hardware.

That makes sense to me. This is meant as an inexpensive alternative to those big romplers like the Korg Triton, Roland Sound Canvas or JV series, and the E-mu Proteus. But it doesn't contain any of the same sounds - this stuff is all original!

Unfortunately the UI size isn't directly editable - however you can go into your daw settings and change the dpi or your display settings!
