I guess you could call the contrast between the male and female vocals a necessary discrepancy.

The male singer is Naoki Hashimoto he's been in a few metal bands. I would love to see more Duets with Naoki and AISHA.

Don't worry, there is another video going up today that was recorded before the gnomes attacked 🤣

@@BraindeadBreakdown By the way, if you were looking into stuff from previous guilty gear games - definitely recommend Freesia, Divide My Heart, Six Black Heaven's Guns and All I Can Do. Most of the Xrd tracks are pure instrumentals, but the ones with vocals hit really hard.

I don't really have a tier list myself, but this is definitely one of favorites- Actually, when the base game came out (Ramlethal is part of the starting roster), at that time Daisuke said this was his favorite song from the OST, and I can see why. The contrasting vocals are a pretty cool touch; I feel that to a degree they reflect the dynamic between the stoic Ramlethal and her more chatty demonic familiar (he's the two orbs that hold her swords.) Ramlethal herself is an artificial human who was created by a certain entity to oppose humankind, but she has since reconsidered her mission. Starting off as robotic and logic-driven, she has come to understand humans as well as her own emotions more and is still trying to learn. The lyrics of this song too reflect that story of her relationship with humanity 🤔

This is a bit of a stand-out track in a way, with the heavy use of piano and synth… This said, many tracks in the game have stand-out elements of their own… So in a way that’s normal lol… Pretty much every track is reasonably cool.
