I hope I’m wrong but reading between the lines it seems her parents were pimping her out from a very young age to sex offenders for money. And someone from social services seeing with their own eyes her in bed with an older man 😮 where was the phone call to the police to remove her immediately. Charlene was failed on some many levels by so many people who were meant to protect her. This case is so unbelievable and sad.

@@lourdesmarie66 I agree with you 💯%. She should have been put straight away to jail!!! She wasn’t a good mother 👩🏻 to Charlene at all!!! Nor was the father good to his daughter either. They knew what was happening with her because they let it happen by allowing other men come into their house 🏡 to sexually abuse her and probably for money 💰 too. They were poor people and just used their daughter to receive money. 33:46

And the fact they left their son’s body for that long before calling police shows ( also by the phone call she made when her daughter was missing. And then replying i have to go out soon) was almost like she seen her children as worthless and couldn’t be bothered with dealing with police both occasions ) she failed them to such an extreme level its so so sad i hope they find her. The audacity of her parents to sue the police force then write a book about their daughter to try to capitalize on her story is nuts. She was let down by her parents, she had such a tough life her entire existence because of them. Letting up to 16 grown men stay overnight, some staying in her bedroom. Those parents deserve to be in jail, screw them. Scum 'parents'.

Time and again in crime docs you'll see the child protective services prove as useful as asshairs. In Canada the problem is that non-caucasion children need it most, so of course the Woke crowd insists that failure to lay off the non-caucasion abusers is racism because otherwise the stats will be uneven and stuff. It is easy to guess that it is the same in your country too.

I would have loved to have had you on my side 3 years ago, when having beyond heated dispute with 2 male…. (trying to skip my description of them) … friends of my then partner who were adamant that if a woman is a partner (girlfriend or a wife) of a man, then practically it is IMpossible for her to claim she has been raped at any moment of time by the man as that’s called sex!!!! Willingness of the woman does not matter in any individual case as she has given a blanket permission to be had. Even if it is so bad that she leaves him after that, that is still ok as it was her fault - she had to have left earlier if she did not like it; after the fact means just that she did not like the sex and so decided to leave. I still feel sick when I see those 2 excuses of….sadly, their wives were there, both happy and with kids from them …and I am called ‘antisocial’ for banning them from my home and their sons from stepping anywhere close to my daughter! That gut-wrenching belief is not solely intellectual tumor but a cultural ulcer sadly…

If only these lovely children had grown up in a family that really loved them. These parents were abusive at best, and at worst probably farming out their children to men that came to the house. The 2 cases, as far as we know, of not contacting emergency services soon enough proved they only thought of themselves and neither cared or at any time thought of, actually looking after their children.

The kebab meat theory is absolute bollocks…the main suspect is a guy called “Nigel Lloyd”…he was a chef in Blackpool and had a history of child abuse and was even on a Gordon Ramseys kitchen nightmares episode which has been taken off all platforms due to him.. he was part of a child abusers ring.

Is that "Mother" unwell in the head??? 'Sorry, I've got to go out soon' she didnt give a flying f!!! Why would she when for years she allowed her own flesh and blood to be abused, used and degraded by grown men. She needs, well, i cant say on here what she needs. As for the "Father", If he could pimp his own daughter out to his mates, sure it wouldnt of stopped him messing with her himself. Its actually terrifying to think what a standard night was like in that "home". Horrifying.

Missing for days before her mother reported it. Indifferent to the police wanting her to stay home so they could take a report and get the ball rolling. These parents don’t deserve any sympathy. I instantly thought she got home, parents pimped her out (again) something went bad and parents got rid of the evidence. Blame the immigrants, job done. And then for some cash flow sue the coppers and write a book. Maybe I watch to many true crime shows.

Why were the "Parents of the Year" allowed to walk the streets? Why were they allowed to keep their kids? How many employees from Social Services lost their jobs? It also seems that those businesses that were grooming young girls had arrangements with the police, who walked the beat in that part of the city. How did these police officers not know what was going on under their noses? The answer is, they did! What a shame.

Someone finally put the evil "mom" in her place by telling her hey your daughter is 14 and missing... and you need to stay home! BRAVO to this dispatcher!!! Someone finally cared about this young girl. How sad for her that her own parents are so disgusting and despicable.

The only professional that did their job in this whole sad story, was the lady that answered the 999 call. If I’ve learned anything watching these true crime videos,it’s that 1. CCTV is useless, unless it’s being used to issue you a fine. 2. Nonces can offend repeatedly and still get little or no jail time. 3. Someone is always covering something up, usually the people you rely on to tell the truth.

It’s easy to say that Charlene and her sisters. The problem is that foster homes and congregate facilities are sometimes even worse. I am a social worker and used to work in an ER that served both kids and adults. A lot of the kids told me that they were being neglected or abused by their foster parents or in the facilities where they were staying. I dealt with social service staff who were stupid and incompetent. The good ones burned out and left. This is not to excuse the many failures in this case, starting with her revolting parents and continuing on through social services and the police. It makes for extremely sad viewing. I will say that this is an outstanding piece of reporting and I found myself riveted almost despite myself.

Cases like these prove how useless social services and police are half the time. They get all these clear signs that something very bad is happening, parents who clearly don't gaf about their children and don't bother to hide it. It's not important enough to them until someone is horribly hurt or dead

The picture shown at 26 mins in of Robert Ewing is actually a picture of Gareth Dewhurst. Dewhurst helped Ewing dispose of Paiges body. He's been out for several years & I have seen the POS out & about. Paiges body has never been disclosed. Both should be strung up like so many others in this story!
