Im from a small town in kwazulu-natal called bergville...roughly 80-90% of the population is black but 80-90% of the land is owned by the white minority. ..i remember growing up herding my grandfather's cattle i'd always get into trouble with the cattle running off into a neighbouring white mans farm just to graze.To think i used to believe we were well off because my grandfather was a police officer and grandmother a nurse and had a significant amount of land makes me feel like I was ignorant...believe me when i say SA has a long way to go. Property is not a right under any internatinal law. The South African state, acting as the will of the South African people, has the absolute and unlimited right to seize any property within its borders and redistribute it in any way desired by the democratic will of the the population. There is no requirement or right for the previous landowners to be compensated. But there are some shining stars starting to emerge. Rwanda is one of the brightest stars. And have you ever asked yourself why Ethiopia was the only African nation never colonized. Africa has the largest growing middle class for consumer goods; the youngest working population. Great wealth in natural resources; some of brightest minds and talented people in the world but continue to give the continent away. There this young millionaire in Nigeria (I forgot his name ) . He comes to America and is taking photos with rappers, ball players and blinging out with expensive cars, and jewrly showing off. This mentality is why Africa as a whole won't prosper. You will have the 1% that holds 99 % of the wealth. Now have you heard of Buffet , Jeff Zebos (amazon), Steve Jobs (apple) or Bill Gates (Microsoft).? Apparently you do have to be educated. Firstly, most blacks in South Africa are immigrants, who moved there because of the wealth and civilisation white Europeans built. Before white Europeans arrived, there was nothing but warring tribes living in mud huts. White Europeans built EVERYTHING. They did what every other tribe was doing, just far better. Blacks, even if oppressed, benefited from the vast advancements, the infrastructure, the wealth, the farming, the everything. Blacks have been in power for 30 years now, blacks have had equality, equal access to education, equal access to everything. And they've accomplished less than nothing. The government can't even keep the power on. This despite constant support from the west, who view South Africa as a beacon of racial progress and harmony. Like the rest of the world, black violence and homicide rate are through the roof (against every race, but mostly other blacks), their educational attainment is atrocious, their poverty rates sky high. The average IQ in Africa is around 73. These are sad facts. If you kicked white farmers off their lands and gave them to blacks, they'd cease to function. This is what happened in Zimbabwe. The country would starve. The country would return to what it was before European colonisation, and to what most of Africa is. A violent, impoverished, primitive hellhole.

All of them are located in the Northern Eastern parts of South Africa. Ironically, this is also the best land with the highest rainfall. If that land was in white farmers hands - they could probably fed the whole of Africa and still export. Thirdly, what you see happened in South Africa is now happening in Europa / USA - illegal migrants storming the gates. I just wonder what an European and USA Farmers will do when these illegal migrants decedents start demand their land in 100 years when they outbreeder the current populations.
