A WEEK IN ITALY | what I eat in a week & romanticizing my life (Kitchen Worldwide Episode 1)

HI BBY! Welcome to a week in my life in Italy… except I’m still living in Mexico LOL! After watching TONS of solo Italy travel vlogs from Elena Taber I knew I had to try making one of my own! Travel with me and let’s spend a week in Italy together and explore the delicious foods from Sicily, Rome and Naples while I’m romanticizing my life and debating whether I’ll be moving to Italy or Hawaii in the Fall!
I also show you a bit of what I eat in a week in episode 1 of my new series called KITCHEN WORLDWIDE (say this in your best Pitbull voice) and featuring lots of chill and relaxing cooking vlogs with me, so I hope you enjoy! We made homemade pasta, healthy brownie biscotti, strawberry granita sorbet and so much more. I hope you enjoyed a week in Italy with me :)

You should do Spanish food 🥘 (tortilla de patata, paella, pulpo a la gallega, salmorejo...) Im sure you would like it ☺️

As an Italian I approve this video!! Everythig you said about the coffe is true! Also before drinking an Espresso at the counter, we drink a little glass of sparkling water to "clean" your mouth. And yes, cappuccino is usually drank in the morning and especially not with your meals! As an aperitivo is very common to have a spritz and then they give you chips, olives, focaccia, cheese etc. The biscotti you made a very similar to Cantucci! Next time for your pasta sauce try something like cacio e pepe, amatriciana,puttanesca, con le vongole and so on! Also my favourite dish is pasta e fagioli!! About where to go in Italy you should look at Trentino Alto Adige, I do not live there but I LOVE it, It'so different. Then ID you'll go there in the winter you can snowboarding!

I’m Italian, I used to live in Italy now I live In Manhattan but Italy is breathtaking!! It’s definitely a different setting from where you live but I honestly think you’ll love it.

For episode 2, I would like to see Turkey to be honest. Our cuisine has too many delicious food and I would like to see you trying them. For example for breakfast you can eat Menemen (dish with eggs and tomatoes), for lunch you can try Biber Dolması (stuffed bell peppers), for a snack you can make a cake called Revani and for dinner you can try Karnıyarık (eggplant, seasoning and ground beef) but if you don’t want to eat meat, you can try kısır (bulghur and veggies)

Hi! I’m Italian and I live in Pisa (where there is the famous “leaning tower”) and it’s a beautifull town, full of history and culture. I can guarantee you that Italy is an amazing land. You can have the beautifull beaches and a warm weather in The South of the country (sicily, puglia...) , you can visit hundreds of amazing cities (Rome, Florence, Naples, Pisa, Bologna...), or if you prefer the “mountain landscape” obviously The North is the best (you can go to Trentino Alto Adige, Val d’Aosta, Friuli...). In Italy every corner, every little place is worth it (and full of delicious, genuine, and typical foods btw). Baci 😘

I live in Trentino Alto Adige in Italy and I can only recommend it. It is so beautiful in summer but also in winter and it is totally different to the rest of Italy❣️

Italian girl right here! The choice between Florence and Rome is a tough one to make,they are so different from one another and both equally beautiful. Florence is more medieval and small while Rome is way bigger and it's history and monuments are obviously older. I live near Rome so I am clearly biased but I will tell you this: since Rome is in the center of Italy,if you were to move here, you could reach a lot of cities by train (either in the northern or southern part of Italy) and it would not take a lot of time so you could easily travel around and visit a lot of places . Last time I went to Florence by car it only took a couple of hours and trains are faster. I hope this was helpful. Ciao!

I lived in Italy!!! I think u will love places close to the sea I would recommend Genova ( chiavari or san remo) or Bologna, Rome...but honestly everywhere is beautiful

Well done!!! 💪🏻In Tuscany we also use to eat sometimes , at the and of a meal , some biscotti cantuccini, which are made with almond flour, flour, and some chopped almond or dry figs ....sooo crunchy 🤩 . We use to soak them in Vinsanto which is a traditional tuscan liqueur 😉

Lived in Genova, Italy for 6 months this year. I loved it so much and want to go back. If you want an easy way to meet a cool community of young, English speaking friends from dif countries try and find the au pair groupchat in whatever city you go to! Also hike in Liguria - Cinque Terre (ovvio) and Comogli to San fruttuoso (a hidden gem). Two of the best days of my life and unparalleled beauty!
