I mean, there's really no shame in over eating in experiences like this anyway, most of us couldn't afford it often or at all. One thing I do is eat at least once or twice a week my grandma's meals because while I can lose weight at any point in time in my life, my grandma won't always be here. Take care of yourselves and apreciate your loved ones guys!

The beauty of Rome must be a truly unique experience for someone who visits Europe for the first time and I am happy you are enjoying the food and scenery, but sorry, taking a plane ride between two cities in one country (for a one-day stay?) is absolutely irresponsible. Northern Italy is currently experiencing serious droughts and water shortages, and traveling short distances by plane certainly is not helping the issue. You seem very aware of your cultural surroundings and being respectful towards those, but I don’t see this reflected in the way you understand the ecological situation you actively contribute to the worsening of. It breaks my heart to know Italians, my home country’s neighbors, have to take serious life changing measures to deal with this while you promote a lavish Jetset lifestyle in complete ignorance. The whole of Europe has a very established railway infrastructure which allows you to get from point A to B with a fraction of the emissions you produce. Please do your research.
