I loved this series. Maybe doing epoxy with colored mica powder to make your own syrup for the waffle ears would be good. There are tutorials for hot chocolate glitter mugs that could show you how to do that.

Wow!!! Trully amazing. I have looked at other etsy shops for ears, I am a little suspicious when the turn on orders are 10 days. More than likely they are cardboard and hot glued ears. I am still hopeful that one day I will luck out and get a spot on one of your ear shop openings. Thanks for a fabulous series!!

The vast majority of ear shops just glue ears, since it’s a lot easier and less time consuming, but I find you can’t beat the quality of hand sewn!

This inspired me so much! I made my first pair of custom ears for myself, my sister and a friend last summer using one of your videos as reference and they were a huge hit! Have you ever considered stuffing your ears partly with your scrap fabric though? I'm a fashion design major with a focus in sustainability so I know how harmful scrap fabric is to our environment. I know it can come out kind of lumpy which is why I would say stuff the majority with scraps and then use fiber fill to smooth everything out, but I hope if you decide not to use scraps as stuffing that you recycle them responsibly.
