Thanks for taking the time to post again. I'm a steel-cut oats junkie, so I'm going to suggest giving that a try sometime. Look for a fairly coarse cut like Bob's Red Mill, rather than something fine that's trying to be quick cooking. It makes a huge difference in the final texture and taste.

We use a ton of sweetened condensed milk. If you have not tried it Thai ice tea is a super treat. During the summer my husband makes Brazilian lemonade. Because you just stick everything in a blender and then pour it through a strainer it is so much easier than traditional lemonade. And I also make Vietnamese yogurt with it. The yogurt thickness can be altered by using milk or evaporated milk vs. water.

Hey Sarah, great video again! You mentioned that both you and your husband work fulltime, run your homestead and homeschool your children. This is something I would love to do as well with my wife and 2 beautiful little daughters. Even though we have no experience in homesteading or homeschooling whatsoever. We grew up in an urban environment in and near Rotterdam, The Netherlands. But want to settle in a more quiet and peaceful place where we can learn skills, like how to feed ourselves, raise animals and create cool stuff like a shed or a greenhouse. We think these are skills that are very important for our children to learn also. I was wondering what advice you have to new homeschoolers and homesteaders? How do you guys divide your time during the week? And how did you decide what you wanted to educate your children in? Thanks a lot! Greetings from Holland.

I’m really interested in that pine soda you briefly mentioned. Where could I find a recipe?

Loved this! By the way, it would help make the video a little more cohesive if you leveled the audio of the clips where some parts aren't considerably louder/quieter than others

I agree wholly with you! I had a terrible time editing this, it sounded fine in my editing software and then it was awful once uploaded to KZbin. I’m still trying to figure everything out 🥲🥲

How did you create your intro? Is it your footage or from a program, etc? Either way, looks great!

It’s drone footage of our place with music rights I purchased through Epidemic Sound, and the text I added with Canva. Honestly thank you for even noticing 😁🫶🏻
