My mom had a special clock as an anniversary gift. It was small, gold colored, had a rotating lower half instead of a pendulum and it was in a glass dome case. One day it unfortunately fell and broke. My mom was clearly very upset but eventually decided to throw it away. Much later when we were visiting family on holiday I went with my grandma to a flea market and the one thing that caught my eye there was a special clock that looked exactly like the one my mom had. It was clearly more cheaply made with plastic instead of real glass or metal but it looked perfect and I had to buy it. I wrapped it up and when we got home I gave it to my mom. When she saw what it was she instantly had a big smile on her face and started to cry. We both hugged and she thanked me for the present. This is still one of my most fondest memories.
