I gotta say man… there are a ton of channels out there doing similar stuff, but for some reason you are the only one I keep coming back to. Maybe it’s the bias as a fellow App grad who now lives in SLC. Maybe it’s the quality of the footage/editing. Really, I just think you come across as an unpretentious dude who doesn’t let fear of failure, or trying to look cool get in the way of exploring the world and creating genuine content. I appreciate what you do for the community. Keep it up 🤙

It’s crazy how the stars align and things come together and in those moments you may not even realize just how magical that can truly be. From Missing the plane, to picking a completely new spot, to Ivan’s first cast and connecting with that fish was simply magical. This series was beautiful and amazing Scottie. I dream of moments and friendships like this. Well done…well done.

I pretty much lived my dream through this series of videos. Pretty much my dream trip. But it will remain a dream. I would have paid theatre ticket prices to watch this. Very well done.

Awesome series, and appreciate the grind of the DIY. Caught my first one this year but we had a guide. First spot he took us to had over 200 fish. Was worth the $500 but I bet this was a lot more rewarding.

Scotty, Phelps, Ivan - This series was amazing. There is so much emotion portrayed in the production of these epics, which is exactly what they are. This is by far the best channel out there for our passion! As a trout fisher in the West, I have learned the hard way just how challenging it is to saltwater fish with a guide, let alone DIY. This last episode and the entire series delivered, and I can't believe it ended the way it did. I felt like I was right there, experiencing these moments! I'm not sure what it means to tear up while watching a fly fishing film, but I think it just shows how amazing this sport is. I can't wait to see what comes next! P.S - Don't change the creative approach to these films. The art in the film making and storytelling is just as good as the content presented!

rent free...those are the stories. Scottie....this was a great story...taking 4 episodes to tell. Fishing is about the journey. It's a hunt for success - the growth and understanding a new fishery. Wow. What a story. what a hunt. Up at 5 am, fishing til dark every day! What a hunt! The details and the story is in the hunt, not in the catching. There is always more catching of fish, wanting more, doing more. You've put your time in for this trip and the memories/stories will speak for themselves for years to come. I want to watch this series over and again. I almost want to go back to the Bahamas with Ivan just for the sake of the hunt...then he got his bone on bone-us days.... It's also inspiring to find my own DIY hunts. I go on a yearly man trip to the Texas coast. I look forward to 5 days of nonstop fishing all year. Your 7 days share similar themes of the hunt. I can't wait til the next hunt. Keep the stories coming. Well done.

Growing up fishing the salt, both conventional and fly, every day in the flats is a roller coaster of emotions. I can say, for my self at least, that when I get to go out west and target trout it’s similar feelings to what you experienced. The highs, the lows(ebbs and flows), of any day of fishing is rough on the mind and emotions. Some times the universe has a crazy way of giving you the opportunities you don’t think you would get.

Hey, FYI on BahamasAir. They do this kind of switching ALL the time but if you can show them you never got the change and your original itinerary, they will reimburse you. Not sure how far they will go but they caused me to miss my flight back to Los Angeles and after 4 weeks, refunded me 100% the cost of the change. They may screw up but they own it. Good luck and great series/
