A few years back, before me and my friends went hunting, I heard about some other hunters who killed a wild hog a few days before. When we were walking the swamps, we ran across two tiny baby hogs. We caught them and gave them to an old couple who raised hogs and cows just for the fun of it. They only kept the animals to keep the land around them from being leased for houses to be built. Now them tiny little hogs turned into big old stinky boars. They are friendly as dogs.

Management of a destructive invasive species is key for native wildlife. Wild boar kill baby deer here and cause so much damage that we may never recover. Yes, we'll hunt, we manage, but we are not out doing it for fun.

Lol! Completely understandable. Labs have a “soft mouth”, meaning they’re really gentle when they carry something in their mouths. This way, when they go and retrieve a duck, for instance, they don’t tear it up lol.

@@GR-dw9nm I just looked it up. It seems that they shed their baby teeth at around 13 months and that is when the tusks start to grow. So it is likely that they would not show yet. They could also just pop out the buds so they never grow. I don't know how involved a surgery that is in a pig.

It's a whole lot easier to get along when you have all the food, shelter, protection, health care, and creature comforts you could ever need provided for you for free. As well as zero competition for mates or resources. This goes for humans as well as other animals. These animals are only in this position, to get along so well, because of the compassion of humans. Well and the fact that one of these animals is artificial, created by humans through many generations of genetic engineering in the form of selective breeding, specifically to make them docile and friendly. Animals are adorable, but this is not a natural situation, and animals can also be incredibly vicious and cruel, we're talking horror movie level stuff, it happens in nature every day. Anytime someone says that animals are pure and peaceful and humans could learn from them, they just sound like an ignorant moron..

Ive seen too many people raise raccoons from babies ... and they had to get rid of them when they got older... same with deer, bobcats, coyotes, and foxes. Instinct is not something you change in one generation with hugs and cuddles. Boars get very big.. and the males grow tusks... and when they go into musk, they become aggressive and will flight anything they see as competition.
