@qchome - thanks for the comment - I get asked this question a lot, and my answer is that I only usually talk about beers I enjoy - I just would rather talk about good beer and give people tip offs than talk about bad beer. Hope that answers your question

@Imasofat that beeramisu is awesome - it's really easy to do, and the results are great. The beer is so huge that it can take a day being open, and still tasted good. The beeramisu was even better on day 2 - so the beer had been open for three days by that time!

@odatone1 Thanks for the comment. If you follow the link at the end of the vid, it takes you to my blog, where I write a bit about it. But for the record, my notes on it are: "Black and unctuous. Creamy chocolate espresso on the nose, with a slightly wild note. Huge, sweet on palate, berry fruits (?), liqueur-like stands up very well to chocolate deserts with ice cream but on its own, massive, complex, bittersweet and slightly funky. Huge, absurd, but very enjoyable. Persistent bitterness."

HOLY CRAP! That's awesome!!! That beer is so amazing, and making tiramisu is perfect! I will be putting up a video soon of a beer sorbet using Pliny the Elder. Keep your eyes peeled for that.

@Chad9976 haha, yeah,it's a bit much - it wasn't intentional, I promise! Dessert beers are awesome - imperial stout and creamy deserts are great. As for "egg on your face" I don't think that's the origin!

Wow, that looked so good! I've never seen anyone drink a beer that has sat overnight. It still looked good though!

@yuichituba haha, thanks man - I was pretty delighted at how this came out. I expected a few people to say that it was a waste of good beer, but I'll say the same to you - Pliny granita would be a waste - that just needs DRINKING!

i like this vid;sometimes a little bit of comedy helps! ?-i am guessing that u have a lot of respect for brewers and most people that work in the beer industry in general.i only started watching your vids less then 1 yr. ago,but have noticed that all of your reviews are (extremely) positive.r u picking beers that you only think/know that r of top quality or is the whole thing a coincidence.
