Thank you so much for asking this video, it really hits home. I’ve said this before but I’ll say it again! Growing up throughout high school, the European colonizers taught us that dark skin is "inferior" and that white skin is "superior", it was during this time where I started to develop self hatred, I became very rude to my own parents, I disrespected the people that tried to help me and I worshipped the racist European cave men that were bullying me! I watched this episode and the fact that her mother refers to the black people that her daughter is talking about as "them" an not as "we" or "us" could be why she is like that.
