This is the A7Z song that's on my playlist and it takes me back to the good old rock/heavy days of the 80's. And the best vocals I heard of the band. Would like more like this from A7Z. Thänx for the reaction once again.

This song will definitely be legendary sometime soon. I love the imagery, especially "arrows black out all the light". Really classic heavy metal that would have fit in with older music but works with the modern times. The concept of the album was taking root songs from the 80s and 90s and building something that worked with A7X's individual sound to get young fans interested in the classic sounds. This song is inspired by general medieval themes and Dio and Thunderstruck by AC/DC. The solo is unique because it utilizes a guitar style that Synyster Gates drew from a genre called gypsy jazz. While gypsy jazz's name would imply it's somewhat like American jazz, it's actually based on French-Romani classical music and swing music. There's not any other metal guitarists I can think of who use it, and this album is what people consider Avenged Sevenfold's most simple since their first. It's a great experience and I hope across the board you get great requests for these albums.

@@obnxsdonky9394 Look, there's a difference between a current popular song and one which passes into legend. If a bunch of teenagers aren't jamming to it in 10 years, it isn't legendary. A song doesn't become legendary if it has no time for the legend to grow. It would just be great. Songs like Bat Country and Unholy Confessions have already stood the test of time 17 and 15 years later, but Hail to the King is still viewed by fans to be a weak recent point of the discography. Very basic and stripped down and not something that represents the band well, while people who didn't know the band just jumped in when it came out. People who don't have that bias and people who will be reflecting later in life will both have a different view from the people who lived through the song's genesis and found it just great. It has more potential down the road than it does now. I feel it will be more of a Welcome to the Jungle than an Anything Goes. That's the distinction. That's what it will become. A staple when people look back on 2010s metal. It can't be that yet. By the way, it's not the band's most popular song. Nightmare and So Far Away have more views. Bat Country has sold more. Dear God is up there. Hail to the King has great radio stats, but it didn't have much pop on touring for The Stage. It wasn't a good audience for that song.

i know you have a shit ton of requests from a7x right now and i kind of feel bad for requesting more, but higher from their newest album is really nice. i have a hard time trying to explain it well but it is in some way slower than their usual stuff and well sounds amazing. well overall i feel like you should listen to the stage album more, it is their most unique sounding album and you have only listened to one song from there, that being "the stage"
