You are most welcome! That's a glitch going on these days. Everytime we disconnect the cable, we have to repeat the process to get it working again. Until we get a permanent fix we'll have to do this repeatedly. Can't help it unfortunately.

Ok so I just got back from checking the issue in my car. And yes, it seems that Android Auto has completely stopped supporting AA Mirror Plus. I checked thoroughly with several different versions and none of them work. Most of them are being asked to update the app which was not the case till yesterday! No worries, I'm going to look for an alternative to this issue and post a new video soon. Nope, the app doesn't require network to connect. Just a cable in order to mirror your phone. However, once you connect the phone you might need a good internet connection in order to play youtube, which is understandable. Coming to the point where you are not able to get it working, which version did you install. Please refer the pinned comment where I have mentioned the latest version that works. The version that I displayed in the video stopped working the very next day. So I mentioned the working one in the pinned comments. All the steps remain the same. You are most welcome! To be honest I was tired of searching for a solution as well so I decided to take matters in my own hands :D. Yes, that's a common issue these days. The only solution for that, it seems, is to reinstall it every time prior to using it. It is a glitch with the app. I think they are making some internal changes with the app. Works for me. If your car has a USB port like I showed in the video then one end of the cable will go there and the other end will go to your phone. You may use the cable you have for charging the phone, without the adapter ofcourse. Hope it helps!🙂

Thanks for the video but AA Mirror Plus following these directions does not work with Android 13, Android Auto 10.5.x and Honda Autolink. Removing all Android Auto fixes as recommended creates an Android Auto app not recognized as valid by the vehicle. AA Mirror Plus does run if installed by default in this environment but there is no screen sync when you run the app. Any documentation on fixing for current software releases?

It only gives me the option to update when trying to open. One problem. The car nub does not allow me to increase or decrease the volume when i play video on youtube. When i turn the nub it says volume paused and it does not increase or decrease. That's an odd issue. Ideally it should allow you to change the volume from the car knob. I'm not sure why that's happening. You might have to use your phone to adjust the volume in that case since you are Mirroring the phone.

Wireless/wired android auto is a car feature which isn't linked to the android auto version. You'll have to refer the user manual for it.

Unfortunately, this method no longer works in any of the latest phones which is why you are facing this issue. hi. this is a known issue. once you uninstall the updates and install the version mentioned in the description, it works at that time. After that if you try to reconnect it mostly stops working. Then you have to repeat the entire process to make it work again. The version mentioned in the description works 100% as I have checked multiple times. It's just that this glitch is causing a lot of problems for everyone including me. I think the reason is that they are removing this app altogether maybe to replace it with some other app.

Hi! Thank you for reaching out. I had uploaded a video shortly after this one showing how to use iphone to watch youtube in car screen. However, not even a day after the upload the method stopped working. So I deleted the video since it was then null and void. So I think the only method as of now is to buy some external device to connect to the iphone and then make it work. I would suggest buy an android phone instead though. Choice is yours. Take care!

You mean the automatic app updation right? Nope. Cannot turn that on. It'll stop working. Also this trick usually works just 1 time. As soon as usb is disconnected it stops working. Just redo the uninstall and reinstall and it'll work again. Enjoy 👍

When you click it on the car screen's aa store, you will get a notification on your phone screen to allow the Mirroring. Lemme know if that was the issue.

AA Mirror app or AA Mirror Plus app? These are 2 different apps both in the AA Store app. Try the other one. AA Mirror plus is the latest app and is the one I displayed in the videos. Hopefully it works.

For me 7.0.614134 release is working, but the problem is it's working for the first time ,if we disconnect once the AA MIRROR PLUS app not showing on cars display , again need to repeat the entire process , then its working fine . Would you mind telling me what android version is currently running on your phone along with the phone model? Oh and btw the issue you are facing right now is common. Everyone else is facing the same issue too. It works just once. Reinstalling fixes it. For now that's the workaround. I'm working on a permanent solution but it's taking a lot of time. I'll upload a video on it as soon as I find a solution.

My issue is different. I can mirror everything just fine, The main issue is when I try to mirror a video app like Netflix or prime video. It shows the screen and it shows the timestamps and the subtitles, But It does not show the actual video. It's just a black screen. Can that be fixed?

Hi! Actually that issue is also common in our case. Only Netflix audio works and video doesn't. I've demonstrated in my other video mentioned in the description. Unfortunately, as of now, there's no fix to that other than rooting the phone itself which will end the warranty. I'm currently looking into it with a possible solution. Will upload a video once I find a solution.
