I would recommend using an axel stand also using something to hold up the caliper rather than let it hang on the brake line👍

Hi Anton can the slider pin be replaced the rubber dust cover on my fiat 500 has perished and you can see the pin cheers

thanks for youe videos on changing the brakes on a fiat 500 , just dont my wifes car all round , was nice and easy with the video to follow , but i did notice i think i need new caliper sliders as the seals have gone , i cant see how they come out and seperate from the carrier plate , would you have a video on how to change these at all ? many thanks andy

I use something to hold the caliper is much better and i clean the calipers all the time and use copper greas that make them move more free Sometimes wash it with jet pressure and apply spray grease on it (not on the disks)..o use brake cleaner.. very eady to replace pads and disks....
