The Yankees are a tremendous organization but I find it amazing that people still talk like the Guardians snuck into the playoffs. They went neck and neck with the Yankees for the best record in the AL all season and did the same with the Yankees, Dodgers and Philadelphia for the best record in baseball. Ive loved Weaver as our closer but if only he challenged Thomas in the strike zone and didn't try to get him swinging on 3 straight pitches way outside, they would've been up 3-0.

It’s more shocking to see my Yankees self destruct after taking the lead thanks to incredible homers by Judge and Stanton. Boone screwed up as usual. Walk Noel . Weaver has never faced him. Plus Noel is a huge big power hitter. Bad move by Boone. It back fired in the worst way possible for the Yankees. Now Cleveland is alive and back in the series at home where they win. This does not look good for my Yankees for the next couple of games.
