David doesn't respect blatant fact acts used by TV when David is more of an entertainer and hardcore stuntman. I don't respect Chris' magic either because I know which is fake. David expects you to know his are fake but skilled. Chris is VERY skilled too but not on davids level.

Having a close relative with cancer or any disease is extremely humbling. My brother who just passed at 53 had hydrocephalus/spina bifida which eventually led to kidney disease. I can't say I know how Criss feels but for myself it's like your mind is always walking on fragile ice that could easily break. And It will swallow you up if you let it. 0:24 🎤 Chris Angel reflects on his competitive attitude towards David Blaine in the early 2000s, expressing a determination to outdo him in magic and succeed at any cost. 1:51 🔄 Despite past rivalry, Chris attempted to reconcile with David Blaine by offering him a valuable ring as a gesture of goodwill and friendship. 3:04 🤝 David Blaine's response to Chris's reconciliation attempt was dismissive and bizarre, declining the gift and avoiding a photo together, leaving Chris puzzled. 4:18 📵 Despite the attempt at reconciliation, Chris Angel acknowledges that there's no ongoing friendship with David Blaine, as evidenced by a lack of response to subsequent texts.

I was able to meet Criss a few months ago at Anthony Pettis MMA card in Milwaukee. Criss was part of the group photos they did with other names. They rushed everyone through so it was like a second and then on to the next. I shook his hand and got into position for the photo. And then I gave him a awkward wave goodbye. But it was cool. Such a fun night and it was awesome to meet Yair Rodriguez there too. Anthony and Sergio Pettis are so chill and humble. They took time to photos with fans and really cool.

David Blaine is a real magician with actual talent , Chris is a bum that used actors for nothing more than camera tricks. Loved him as a kid watching mind freak and then grew up and realized

these types of comments are the most unoriginal i've seen. David blaine used actors too, off the top of my head I think of when he pulled the girls teeth out and then blew them back in... My point is it's all just entertainment, and to be so high and mighty like mindfreak is suddenly so trash when in your youth you loved it, bizarre to me.

Very impressive that Chris helps out so much. Also great words of wisdom at the end. Time is precious and it hurts me to realize how much time I've wasted. I didn't do much with my life and haven't seen my son in many years. I spiraled down hill after not seeing him for a couple years and regardless it's my fault that i gave up and stopped trying. Now I've been homeless for over sixteen months and things aren't getting any better. I'm at the point that i would end my own life if i felt i was capable but unfortunately i don't. I would gladly give my life to save a kid who deserves to live. I was delt a crap hand in life but never overcame. Also after such a serious discussion at the end the butthole wipes ad was inappropriate lol!

This was my issue with his Vegas show. He spent the end of it talking about kids' cancer and giving a donation. I will catch hate for being took wrong, but I would rather the tickets cost more, and part go towards this cause or talk about it at the beginning of the show. So many people have dealt with and are dealing with the same thing and probably went to a show or Vegas to not hear about the saddest thing most of us could think of. I am so happy that he does all he does for the cause and am torn at times typing this but still think the delivery is wrong.

You are not wrong or an a-hole. This dude is just as bad of an attention who're as Steve O is. Except Steve knows and tries to work with that fact. Chris Angel is the type of guy who even when doing something good i.e. Cancer Charity, he does it in this horribly tacky way. Which explains it all. The whole style of his show was his idea. He's the tacky one. David Blaine is cool and real. This guy is all surface level. I hope the best for his kids. For real.

@riot_cats Tha ks for not being a troll like I'll get if more replys come this way. I felt like I typed too much as it was and just wanted it off my chest because I have talked about this several times and even very recent about my times in Vegas. I've been 11 times which is a lot too as many as it is nothing to but I still think most want an escape and not to hear possibly the saddest thing possible at the end of an expensive trip and show eetc etc.

This makes sense to me, and as someone who does community work and as a cancer survivor, I want to add that - I’m not accusing him of anything in pointing this out, but my experience with large platform fundraisers has taught me to look out for two major red flags - telling people how much you’ve raised and overstating how legitimately the donations are used. When people say “so many million raised and every cent goes to cancer treatment” instead of listing newly started programs, naming staff hired, or explaining building/equipment acquisitions from such fundraising, it always makes me wonder what is really going on.
