It’s also sad that this guy never got the respect & attention he should have gotten & deserved to get from the industry. He was never included at the Award Shows or nominated for anything & he isn’t the only great Country Singer from that era that was treated that way. Aaron was one of the best & I’m still listening.

I lived out of state for a number of years; was a navy wife Had a job with a quota of hours so ended up w/ about 2 months off so time to load up my beagle (yes, a beagle in the city) and come home to upper South Carolina (same area where Aaron Tippin and Marshall Tucker are from). And it's true, hitting those mountains, Blue Ridge mountain skies, Blue Ridge Mountains, just outside Spartanburg, MTB and Tippin screamin' from the speakers....HOME!!!

@@tomgrams2333 Nah, my eyesight is just fine. I saw him at the Murphreesboro, medical clinic here in Tennessee where my sister works. I was within 10 ft of him when he arrived for a doctor’s appointment so I got a much better look at him than you did. I was there picking my sister up for lunch when he walked in. Maybe he got himself in a little better shape before going on the road again but he definitely looked run down and frail that day.
