The big thing Aba is getting at is it seems that Lav wants it both ways. She wants to have her statements hold weight and to be taken seriously in a conversation, but then also acknowledges that many of her takes aren’t especially fleshed out. The question Aba would pose is, what credibility can we give to any of your statements if she quickly acknowledges their flaws?

Still, that one I found a bit weird as it's so nuanced. No, it’s more like Arrax hitting Vhagar in the face with a fireball and Vhagar responding with killing Arrax. Vhagar being the bigger dragon needs to show much more restraint and caution when dealing with the weaker dragon because Vhagar if reckless or stupid or malicious can do far more damage than Arrax can. This equally applies to Steven and Lav. Steven can do far more much damage to her than she can do to him so he needs to be so much more careful. Now sure, Lav and Arrax shouldn’t start any conflict in the first place and there should be consequences of sort but the more powerful individual/animal must remain tender and calm and act in a lesser manner to prevent much more harm and danger. I think the major factor contributing to their problems in how they are perceived is how poor their communication style is. Besides drawing out everything endlessly, the first thing they need to learn is how to behave in a conversation: Interrupting others less, listening to them and believing that what they said is actually what they mean would, at least for Lav, reduce the backlash by 50%. Despite the negative feedback, they never learn how unintentionally disrespectful they are. There aren't many things worse in a conversation than being interrupted in the middle of every sentence and after finally making a point, the conversation partner feels the need to reinterpret everything you said in extreme and uncharitable ways or plays word games.

Idk who Lav is, but if her worst error is changing her mind & being non-committal about her options, I hope everyone knows that those behaviors are common in women due to patriarchal pressures & norms. I get annoyed when other women behave that way, but I now realize there's tremendous social pressure on us to be agreeable. Plus, millions of years of evolution being smaller/ weaker taught us to be more socially sensitive & respond cooperatively when males express aggression. Modern messaging about girl bossing really doesn't change all the underlying pressures & instincts that govern human behavior

He tries to pull the same BS on his subreddit…. Like Pedo, just because destiny is a girls name, and your username has girl in it, doesn’t mean you get to act like you get to decide or control how destiny speaks on HIS OWN platform, or how he moderates his OWN subreddit… If you don’t like that, go make your own platform and subreddit off of your own merits, do so without the need to be a leech, or orbiter… since you like to word things in the nicest way possible for yourself…. The Pedo has the biggest god complex, he truly is trying to sit there and “ask” (he’s telling Steven) how to be on his own channel and subreddit…. Destiny is a much more caring and passionate girl, then I ever could dream of being as a man…. Watching Lav and Mr Girl literally simp back and forth for each other and run defense for each other is the most manipulative thing I’ve ever seen on a destiny stream. They both have on again off again relationships with the definitions of words when it best suites them. They both will both lie and then when you call them on it try to reframe the conversation. A great example of this is when Mr. Girl said destiny “said I raped someone” when it was clear destiny was making a hypothetical example to demonstrate the way mr girl uses language. AND THEN HE GOT AWAY WITH IT BECAUSE NO ONE CALLED HIM ON IT
@notan31442 жыл бұрын
The fact that he even framed what he said by using Destiny's phrase verbatim "like" which tells you it's a hypothetical and then he says "deStiNy iS sAyiNg IvE sAiD tHinGs IvE nEvEr sAiD!" And everyone let's him off with it except Steven one time.

I find the way Mr. Girl and Lav answered the "who do you trust the most" question ridiculous. It's obvious Lav has a hard on for Max, but I'm more surprised by Max's answer. I feel like he said it's between Lav or Steven only because Lav defended him during the Stardust/Chairey shit, and that's it. There's no way he can have equal trust for both of them after all this time. I just don't believe it. I think Max is pandering to Lav's loyalty because manipulative people LOVE loyalty. Dude, Stardust was actually being so cringe when Max cut her off there, though. She genuinely can't emotionally handle talking about the power play thing with Max, but refuses to admit it so instead allowed herself to become so triggered that she made false flashing allegations against him. Now she comes onto this stream to hijack a completely unrelated discussion by berating Max in an emotional tone about how awful he is for pointing out that she's too emotional to have this conversation with him. The cringiest part was, Stardust wasn't even talking to Max really, she's just trying in vain to convince chat and herself that she was completely justified in her actions during their past drama. Everyone is on the fuck Mr. Girl train, but honestly fuck Stardust.

Imagine your (loosely connected online) friend suddenly claiming that you are their boss, then they spend an inordinate amount of time telling you, the 'boss' how you need to behave. Insulting people like Lav (despite any circumstances) will violate the unwritten policy drawn up in his head. Moderating your own spaces need to be in-line with employees you didn't know you had. Talking with controversial associates online needs to be pre-approved with your 'employee'. It's obviously weird to use the word 'boss', but Max is genuinely behaving as if Steven is violating Employee HR policies. It's concerningly manipulative at its best.

Of course it doesnt have to be right, we all are still learning but under the SMALLEST of pressure it shows she hasnt really thought about some things. In some instances its like she never met or seen anything around the things shes talking about. Im not charitable to sneako either but i think MOST people online knows hes dumb. I'm gonna admit, I feel an affinity to lav as being emotionally undeveloped and also super arrogant about my views when I was younger. If I hadn't been so vocal about my views I would never have had the opportunities I had to not only learn how to research and engage with others better but also develop emotionally and not be so arrogant and contrarian. Yeah she is cringe to listen to, but also some of us take some time to not be so stupid and cringe. Also I think as Steven said it's so much easier to judge the zoomers when our shit was never really let out to the internet to be documented for ever and in such detail.

@@BAGG8BAGG Don't forget: she's making the choice to put everything out there forever, it's not just some mistake of youth.. And Destiny says he's glad the old LiveJournals aren't out there from when he was 18/19, because he was arrogant then, too, though, in reality, his LJ probably would've been active around 15/16, not 18/19. Regardless, she is a _woman_ in her _mid-twenties._ She's immature, but she is absolutely past the age where that's an excuse. She doesn't even have to change the fact that she's still working on sussing out her positions. Especially now that she's aware she's doing it, she should have had the maturity to say, "I'm changing my mind and growing a lot right now. @@jacksyoutubechannel4045 I totally agree with you. She is of the age where you would expect the foresight and emotional maturity to deal with those facts. She is also from a generation that seems to be delaying emotional maturity and understanding nuance. Also sometimes you can play the aggressive stance as a way of dealing with situations with people who are out of their depth, she just doesn't realise it won't work with the orbiters yet. But my point is I understand her position as an individual who didn't really have that maturity till well beyond what was expected of me. I am not excusing it, just empathizing with how retarded she is. Sometimes it's hard for us retards to get off the short bus and get on the long bus.
