You can roll by turning the tyres! Try it in the garage, too when you don't want to (can't) start anything. Saves the panels from getting dented or other damage to lights, windows, etc. Also works great for heavy motorcycles.

Actually, it's just the C that means coupe, the E is for "einspritzung" which is german for "injection". Hence for instance the carburetted W123 230C vs this W124 230CE :)

Hi Ben. I don't know if you know, but Mercedes have a double catch mechanism on the bonnet hinges, which allows the bonnet to be opened pretty much up to vertical for when doing maintainance. A little round peg/ button on the hinge. Press them in,and the hinge catch disengades allowing the bonnet to open much higher. It's an absolute blessing for the old back ! Enjoy ! Dave

I absolutely think it's brilliant that you tale these old classics and not only get them running , you then get them cleaned up and try to polish them right up and make them Road worthy and it's extremely amazing that they all seem to run awesome and it make me wonder just how insane it is that they went derelict in a wrecking yard somewhere or sat in an old barn or shed for 10 to 30 years ! Sad that people just don't want to take a minute to figure it out and to have it fixed so throw it away !?!?! I'm sorry but some of these cars are worth a pretty penny after you spent a week or so in them , ay ! Great for you though 😮😂 people here in the States do the same thing to their cars here to so........

Hi there, I have been watching your videos and I will make it clear I am not here to judge, a few bits of tools I think will help you immensely help you with your diagnosis of vehicles, get yourself a cylinder compression tester and a sniffer kit for the cooling system to check for exhaust gasses in the coolant which will tells you if you have a head gasket leak or a cracked cylinder head. I have been a mechanic all my life and I also use to teach college students motor mechanics. I have also had my own very successful garage business. I get that you have your head screwed on and you have a keen to learn. You also make a lot of hard work for yourself the way you diagnose problems. I wish you the best of luck and success with your channel
