Heck YES! I would love to see more of this CASE 450 machine; servicing and put to work on your land. Would also love to see you get that JD 755 Track Loader back in service, that undercarriage seems to be in too nice of shape to abandon to the scrap yard and with the 450 running you have a way to make it move even without the engine. Hey Darrell, love your videos. You inspired me to take a chance on a 1982 Honda gl1100 goldwing for $400. Thing had sat outside for four years and everything was seized, including the engine. I about have it done, completely rebuilt and repainted. Little late to ride this year, but next year I will.

Nice, getting into some bigger equipment. Love the content, keep up the great work bud. If Pacific Northwest hillbilly can completely rebuild an old bulldozer. He rebuilt the engine, trans, did work on the rear winch, piston cylinders, and a bunch of other things. You can get this running. And at the time he had absolutely no experience working on diesel’s and heavy equipment.

@ yeah, that being a dozer. It’s probably going to take a low boy. Of course I’ve seen some good ol boys down here in SW Ga. Haul a case that same size with an F250-350 with a gooseneck or 5th wheel trailer. I’ve hauled some sketchy stuff on a gooseneck with an f250 😂. I’m sure you’ll get it back to your place.

Now you can drag the loader out to fix later at your leisure. Having all that old not electronic equipment will prove valuable in the future. worse come to worse you could put a different engine in it. I've seen people convert equipment to other engines that were from other manufacturers even.

Great video, that Case ran as good as the day it came out of the factory in Racine Wisconsin. My Dad worked for JICase for 27 years back when that thing was made. That was a very proud company. Their hydraulic drives were some of the best. Dig a hole with the Case and bury the John Deer.

That John Deere looked really nice its a shame they left the exhaust open for so long like that. I would still consider buying it for scrap value less the cost to haul it. Would be hard to move without it running though.

I had trouble with those plastic lines. They don’t stand up to vibration at the fittings. Maybe use copper at the fittings and connect to plastic.

@ the mum got hooked on diesel and started selling herself on iron planet and Richie brothers, she got so bad she started hanging out at scrap yards and junk yards and started messing around with skid steers and excavators to feed her addiction and the scrap yard owner started pimping her out to rental companies until she was all wore out and needed new sprockets and bushings, she eventually checked herself into a rehab and got completely rebuilt by caterpillar with a full factory warrantee and now lives her life in a firehouse and goes out to dig fire barriers and clear burn trees, but she still hasent talked to Joseph or case in 20 years so now the case has mommy issues and sat all those years depressed and didn’t move 🤣

Go back for the 755 and use the other dozer to get it out so you can get to it. As long as it's not blown or a hole somewhere in the engine, it's definitely worth trying to get it going. Nice little case dozer you picked up though. I was hoping to see the reaction when you realized your phone was gone and how long it took you to find it

Case had it figured out with that transmission, my father had had 3 or4 of them over the years I have quite a few of hours on them and my little brother had thousands of hours on them best operator I ever knew

Hey Darrell...looks like a great win with the Case, although definitely replace hydraulic lines....they look really crusty and are on borrowed time. The R/H side track has a frozen spot on it you might want to chuck a bit of oil on to help it free off. 👍 The 755 is a tricky one...heart says yes please, would love to see you have a go at it. Apart from engine, it looks in great shape, and im sure you could fettle it. However, head says it's a lot of work , and could easily turn into a money pit. Would make a great series of videos, though. End of the day, buddy, you'd have a lot of work to do and you have to pay the bills for it, but you could end up with a very nice machine ...😊

On the 755... I'd say if you have the space to store it, and can afford to tie up the money until it's finished and sold, sure it's worth getting a big rotator wrecker in there to grab it and drop it on a low boy.

@@TheHomePros6221 Your bigger rotators are in the 70/75 ton range. They could do it, but expect around $4-5k just for the lift and transport if it's close by. Kinda wild seeing 2003 as "old". 😂💀 By then, I had graduated college twice after serving six years in the Army.

Hopefully, all the water that engine drank. Not good at all, but I have faith in this young man. He has determination. I’ve seen guys here on KZbin who had absolutely no experience working on diesels or heavy equipment and got them running tiptop. But that cat might be a little more than he can handle. That bad boy is shot. I’m in part of the video where he is now showing the case.

Wonderful job. Shame about the first one. I never thought I'd see something you couldn't bring back to life. You would think if someone abandons a car or other vehicle to sit for a long time they would at least throw a tarp on it but that never seems to be the case. The engine may be beyond repair and might just as well be a boat anchor!! The 450, definitely more videos. Oh, and before I forget, whoever routed the exhaust on that machine was genius. No water to run in the engine and no exhaust in your face, noise is routed up and away too.

Maybe you could have undone the two bolts on the new starter and turned it round on end case
